DD1 got a 'C' in maths which is a pass and is great but she said if she can improve it by resiting she still has the 'C'. Dont thinks its area specific - im sure it must be a national rule:p
Been out for a lovely meal for DD1's 16th tonight!
Well, I suppose at 21 months, you can't really treat it the same way as a 5/6 year old
Can she just re-sit the exam? Or does she have to do the whole year again?
Happy B'day to your 16yo.0 -

DD2 has started headbutting when she dosnt get her own way - at the minute we are completely ignoring it but last nite she head butted the wall and really hurt herself:rolleyes: am at a bit of a loss what to do as I cant remember DD1 going through this stage - any tips would be greatly appreaciated.
Chris did the headbutting thing, it's just a phaseI just ignored it and if he hurt himself I said something like "that was a silly thing to do, now you're hurt" I would let him come to me and say climb on my knee but wouldn't go and pick him up like I would if he'd just fell

hmmm I will only bulk out mince so far, otherwise what's the point of having it in the first place? I can do 500g in the slow cooker with carrot, lentils & oats to do a tomato sauce base that makes roughly 4 plastic tubs that generally turn into 4 meals for the 2 of us (unless I do lasagne with 1 of the tubs, then that makes 2 meals per tub).top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I think Susan and Glam must use mince as a garnish
:rotfl:
Either that or i'm a pig. 500g would do me and DS for 2 meals and i'm not shy with the mash and dumplings or whatever we're having with it. When ex was here it'd only do one night though.0 -
Really? Hmmm... I don't like quinnies though and want a parent facing one.
Don't get me wrong its a great pram and it does everything which most don't. It was great when she was tiny and they look fab but it weighs a ton and the steering is crappy, ite really wide, wider than other prams, the basket has a metal cross over thing which stops you being able to get anything bigger than a tin of beans into the basket (new ones don't have that prob), when you have it parent facing you can't get to the basket at all without walking roung the other side of the pram. If you walk everywhere and use it for shopping then it gets to be a PITA.
I got offered the quinny for £70 from a mate and for £70 its brilliant and I have to say in this weather the quinny has been a godsend i wouldn't have been able to get up to school with just the loola.Sarah_Joanne wrote: »Hey! Hipp Goodnight Milk (Benjamin's fave) is £3.50 at Tesco ATM. It is usually £4.50 () god this formula stuff is expensive! What with 2 bottles a day at CM's and a bottle of goodnight milk at night I am feeling the money flowing out of my purse.
