id to admit when i was little i used to headbutt the wall and eat the plaster .. only when i was angry though not sure why x

MOTM - DD2 is 21 months old Im sure its just a phase but bit distressing to watch as last night she really hurt herself.

DD1 got a 'C' in maths which is a pass and is great but she said if she can improve it by resiting she still has the 'C'. Dont thinks its area specific - im sure it must be a national rule:p

Been out for a lovely meal for DD1's 16th tonight!

Ooh its my DD1 16th next week too. I have a 16th an 18th and a 1st all this year!!:rolleyes:

Thanks all - she had a great time - the best pressie ever was her school being closed today! we were supposed to be travelling to manchester for a shopping weekend tomorrow but have cancelled until the better weather as we have had more snow today.

Angela - I thought I had a big age gap never mind 18years;)

I have opened the mini bottle of cava MIL got me for Christmas. Izzy's birthday seems like a good reason to celebrate to me

Well, I suppose at 21 months, you can't really treat it the same way as a 5/6 year old

Can she just re-sit the exam? Or does she have to do the whole year again?

the resit rule is standard for all exams, in a levels you can even sit different modules and the 6 best marks are the ones that count

Chris did the headbutting thing, it's just a phase I just ignored it and if he hurt himself I said something like "that was a silly thing to do, now you're hurt" I would let him come to me and say climb on my knee but wouldn't go and pick him up like I would if he'd just fell

Are you meaning 500g mince would do up to 18 individual portions? (3 people x 6 meals) As that's not much mince per portion or have I just got that totally wrong ?

hmmm I will only bulk out mince so far, otherwise what's the point of having it in the first place? I can do 500g in the slow cooker with carrot, lentils & oats to do a tomato sauce base that makes roughly 4 plastic tubs that generally turn into 4 meals for the 2 of us (unless I do lasagne with 1 of the tubs, then that makes 2 meals per tub).
