Evening everyone, hope everyones ok?

Can I just say a big thank you to tara for posting that link to the daily mail hols, ive just booked 5days in march at devon, cant wait we've been before and loved it, jake is gona love it!

With weaning I suppose we do a bit of a mix, though not intentionally I just like to give her the same evening meal as me. at first i pureed pretty much everythin but quickly introduced 'lumps'. Though all the while she was able to sit and hold food so we did that as well. My personal opinion is that BLW alone is too restrictive, ie if im having sheperd pie for tea, she cant really eat that with her hands and would need my help to spoon it in. Also she has started to take much less formula, regardless of how much food she's had through the day so weaning for me personally is about getting food into her, but she soon lets me know if shes had enough, always has done she just clamps her mouth shut.
I suppose today we have done blw as lunch she had cheese spread sandwiches and for dinner/tea she had mash and 1 sausage, i fed her some of the mash then plonked the rest on the tray for her to help herself.

Oh and I am very happy with bizzie baby!! they are sending me a smart trike to test with jasmine, it looks ace and is £90 at mothercare!!!!

If you are interested in BLW why don't you just wait a while and do it when he is ready? I think I missed why you started on purees
