Oh it's going to be so much fun trying to get Andrew to eat vegetables when we don't consume many ourselves :rotfl:
I agree on the Parsnip - Yuck! I don't eat much veg and I HATE any form of fish or sea food. So Jack will be having fish in the form of a jar from the shop but everything else will be homemade.
Finished off the carrot and Parsnip but I didn't do enough so it wouldn't blend very well so I mixed it and will buy another Parsnip to make single pots of each before I mix them in case he has a reaction to one or the other.
Jack is in bed and settled in his cot on his own at around 8.45pm :j
Not holding my breath that he will stay asleep though!
Right going to read up on the posts since I started this one 20mins ago cos I was on the phoneA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I found it too stressful, trying to get him to stay latched when he was screaming hungry. So we decided that it was more important that he gets breastmilk, and the method was less important. I'm now an exclusive pumper! I'm not sure of the long-term plan, I'd like to continue pumping for as long as possible. But I have a horrible suspicion that the paediatrician is going to tell us to put Andrew on half formula (NutriPrem2) to aid his slow weight gain.
As SB said there is nothing wrong with slow weight gain, as long as he is following his own centile/going up the centiles, and not dropping off there is little to worry about0 -
It was something that was said that sent me into a bizzare mood. Then DH has been a p***k I say no more!!!!Everyone is entitled to their opinionEllie 25/12/070
