EM - Specsavers Question - I had a 'free contact lense' trial in cardiff back in 2005, I wore lenses til 2008 when I had another eye test in another SS branch. Haven't had lenses since and am probably due another eye test soon - will go to another branch up here & would like another free trial. would they do it? should I play dumb & say I've not been to SS before or can they check?

Just want to get the free trial so I can see what lenses I need then order them cheaper online!

Just tell them you are interested in a free trial as you're thinking about taking them up on their lensmail scheme, if they are the same as us they will bend over backwards if they think they might be getting a sign up! I had 3 trials before I started there cos I couldnt get on with the lenses

Right HV just phoned me back and can see me today but I have to be there before 12.30, and it takes 20mins to get there !!

I just wanted to say that I agree with MFD about the images needing to be a little lighter if you can, we usually optimise photography for web by brightening, upping the contrast and trying to have as little background as possible, to show off the product to the max!

I hope you don't think this is cheeky, more meant to be helpful, but here is an example of what I would usually do to an image for a sales website:

Well, not quite, but she said as its easy melted to help him associate putting things in his mouth with food, its an easy one to start him on and there is less fear of choking. So we are to start that and we are also getting a referral to the speech therapist because he has so little interest in food to get some ideas on what might help. To be honest, I would rather let him get on with it in his own time, but apparently at 7 months he should be eating better than he is. Oh well, just one more appt to add to the list !!

just to say, as you know Ed is same age basically and is 'normal'(as can be with me as a mum lol) and he has so far actually eaten some brocoli seeds and a tiny weeny bit of cucumber. So if you want to ignore them I support you
Also I'm 99% sure organix crisp-a-likes dissolve like wotsits but have no random crap and salt in them so maybe worth a look (although I'd kinda like the idea of having to eat most of a pack because otherwise they'd go chewy mmm wotsits!)

Hi everyone, hope you are all well.
I'm going home soon! hopefully tommorrow if I get my locks changed in time! :j
My solicotor is confident that as long as me and the ex dont get back together(yeah right, that will happen when hell freezes over!) and basically keep to what they say I should be fine!
