3-Sorry to hear your OH has to go away for his training. Mine was lucky and came home each night as we live really near the training centre. Hope your OH thoroughly enjoys it. Did you get a dress for Wednesday?

I think the training up here used to be away for 6 or 8 weeks, so it could be worse! He's only away this week, then a couple of nights next weeks in the forest - which will be nice for him!

I got a dress which I like, but i'm thinking it may be too short as a dress. I wore it out last week with leggings. I'm going to try it on with very black tights. I also have another couple of options, i really should go and have a trying on session.

I'm thinking of sale shopping today for a nice coat and nice boots. I have tons of coats, but mostly thin mac style, and my big warm one for the school run - none or which are warm and smart.

:T:T For sleeping babies. It's amazing how much better everything seems when you've had a decent nights sleep!

    Good morning everyone else.

I think you guys are quite lucky. Up here, the initial training course is 6 weeks at the Police training college, then in post for so long and back at the college for another few weeks. Even the Sergeants course is 3 weeks at the college (I spent 2 weeks at the college doing it and I am not even an officer)!

Does anyone's child have a quivering chin/bottom lip? And not just when crying. In the hospital they said J's nervous system was just not developed enough at birth and this will stop. But it's been over two years. I do hope he doesn't keep it into adulthood. The GP is obviously not bothered with this life or death symptom .

What? I have to worry about these things... :o

Hiya Agutka - lovely to see you.

Can I say that I LOVE your avvy! I always have. I can't wait until Benjamin is a toddler and I am going to buy him a bright yellow coat too! I saw one in the sales but it was 3-4 years and I couldn't justify buying it over 2 years in advance!!

It may be that it is a kind of habit now. I would ask someone to look at it properly - it is one thing to say that a baby will grow out of it but a toddler should have better muscle control. Does it affect his speech at all?

    Morning Fitzio :)

I've done something to my hip. It was a bit sore yesterday but today I'm hobbling like an old lady :(

Good luck with the jabs today - I hope you and Holly are fine afterwards.

I know it's trashy tv but how on earth can that girl on jeremy kyle say she'll abort the baby if her ex doesn't get back with her?!

  • 3- I do not envy your OH spending nights in the forest in this weather! When I was in Sixth Form we did an army camp and the night we camped out it snowed, then we had to break the ice on a chest deep river and run through it...it was not nice! I would not want to do that these days.

SM- I know the feeling of moving 'stuff' from one place to another, although we have had a mega- eBay, Freecycle and charity shop clear out this weekend and got rid of masses of stuff.

    Elle- yippee for sleeping babies.

Fitz- I can't believe Henry and Holly weigh almost the same. That is crazy! Henry is on the 91st percentile for weight, he's never been measured but he is getting too long for 0-3 clothes so I imagine he is quite long too!
