Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Did you have a lovely time????
    helloooooo!
I had as good a time as you can manage when away with ILs and 2 kids :p;)

Well we've 'done' Switzerland and it's safe to say we won't be going again - soooo expensive!! despite everyone advertising "tax free shopping" it was mostly around 20% more than at home. we only ate lunch out once; £70 for a veg soup, 2x sausage n chips, 1 chips, a french toast and 7 soft/hot drinks
We stayed in a chalet in Zermatt and could see the matterhorn (aka the mountain on the toblerone box ) from our lounge.

High point was Chris's fab skiing, low points were the 4hr transfer time, Ed feeding every 2-3hrs 24/7 *yawn* and losing Chris in the airport :o and of course missing you lot :)
The very best is sometimes what nature gives us for free.

What a crazy lady keely. Did you tell her it wasn't you? Hope LO gets better soon.

We tried telling her but she yelled back at us 'i know it's you-the social told us!' ....we called the police as it's an on going problem, they think it's most likely the council have reported her after visiting her.

On a more postive note Elliot wasn't sick last night, kept his milk down at bedtime. He's really tired today though, and didn't want his breakfast.

I'm supposed to be taking him to a 1st birthday party but him not being well and the bad weather has put a stop to that :(

    Marathon post coming up...

    Beautiful babies Princess, Fitzio, Tia....

Party dress pictures coming, although I have a jelly belly in mine :(

Aless we used disposables till Molly was over 4kg, by then she was big enough that the reusables didn't drown her.

Princess, I'm so glad you got weed on, IYSWIM - must be a relief to know he's getting fluids in :) at the knocking on doors and windows, hopefully the person will go away once they realise you're not the old tenant.

Susan, I just wanted to say that I love hearing about how you weaned Alice (and about Alice in general) - I'm back at work already so BLW isn't likely to work out for us, but we're giving her veg sticks as well as mush and it seems to be going well.

    MM, how's your bum?

SB, that does give me some hope :) I'm 30, and this will be the first year we don't go to my parents for Christmas - I think that's what kicked it all off. Feeling much better today though, and thank you for saying :), I suppose raising adults is the eventual goal of having babies ;) I'm glad Poppy got to go to the party and that her cough's better.

Feelie, my PM box is always open if you need anything :grouphug:

Ladybird, that's so cute! (chocolatey babies and chocolatey kisses) Someone once tried to get into my old apartment after getting lost between the floors - very scary.

Glam, how's the solid food progressing? Have you tried it yet?

AF, Molly will only spend a couple of hours a night in her cot and then agitates until she's allowed into the bed with us. But despite being only about 65cm tall, she can spread out so one of us has to move to the sofa. It's unbelievable - we have a super king size bed and she takes up more than half of it. If you figure out how to get LO into the cot and out of your bed please report back with instructions :)

Hello csh :) am I your FB friend? Must go look at your pictures because I hear your daughter's gorgeous :)

Big cuddles for Toby, fatty. I was a bit nervous the first time I BF in public but it was fine, and now I'll whip them out wherever I happen to be. Mostly only when Molly needs feeding......

(holy crap I still have four maximum-length pages to catch up on - why did you people talk so much?)

I hope your friend's ok Tara. It's lovely that you care so much.

elle, we have loads of unseasonal clothes too, but most of them were gifts. Someone gave us a 9-12 month snowsuit - Molly will be a year old in August, and on the day she was born it was a bit cooler than normal at almost 40 degrees.

Hope you get your tap sorted Tia. Love your text to OH :rotfl:

    MM I love Tim Minchin!
(SM I absolutely would walk down a dark alley with him...)

Mel, if you're an MM in real life are we FB friends and if not may I add you? I'm glad LO is eating properly, but :rotfl: at his performance anxiety - very cute now it's sorted out. Scruffy too - I didn't know babies would do that.

(3 pages left, getting tired... and you're all still talking, I can see you!)

Tara, what an utter barstool that man is - you can't plan a baby and then eff off, that's just downright offensive. I hope she steals his entrails and strangles him with them.

(God I just sneezed and spit a bit, and Husband saw and handed me a tissue. I may die of embarrassment)

MOTM forgive me for raining on your parade a bit but I'm getting a hint of alarm bells at this working from home business. Do you need a carer for the girls? It didn't seem that way, and it seems awful sudden to me to think of someone moving in after a month and becoming a housewife dependent on you inside two. I'm sorry to be so blunt.

Beenie, I hope you get your feeding sorted :)

Mel, if someone told me I was crap at raising my kid/s I would kindly suggest that they eff off and never dare to speak to me that way again. But I wouldn't change the way I do stuff because I do it the way that works for me.
    And what Weezlie said.

Weezlie, I don't know what to tell you about sick. Molly's just started sicking a bit more often, and apparently it's because she's getting much more active. I don't know if that happens with slightly bigger babies too? How did you get on yesterday? (I see you were reasonably productive and did some rolling over to today - very wise and good luck :)).

Harley, I really hope you get the dentist stuff sorted reasonably well.

    Bruno, how's OH?

Hi Sami, how was it? Did you bring us a present?

    Hello Millie's Mum :)

Keely, what a weirdo - hope it gets sorted without too much more oddness.

JM, I hope you feel better soon.

    *phew*

The party last night was great but it took me ages to get home and I ended up having to spend €12 on a taxi because one of the trains was cancelled. I did have a great time though and feel very lucky to have made some wonderful friends here.

Molly's on day 3 of semi-solids, just had some mashed up veg and potato with thoroughly macerated chicken and loved it. Some of yesterday's carrots made it into the bowl too and were unilaterally rejected. So chicken and veg, yes, apple yes, carrots thank you Mama but no. And since I know you all love to hear about poops, it is SO WEIRD that there is finally some solidity to hers.

Ooo the nappies were on good deal as well

Anybody got any tips to get Caitlyn to stay on her back for a nappy change? As soon as you lie her down she starts acting like you're torturing her... As soon as the old nappy is off and you start with the clean one she's rolling over and wailing like a banshee... Makes it very difficult to put the washables on when I'm using a nappy nippa!!

Oh and Aless, while you're here... I used terry squares with Aimee practically the whole way through... What fold are you doing? I used to do the newborn fold until she was too big, then I just folded them into pads like you would for a pre-fold system...

I have major problems with Elliot at nappy change, it doesn't help that he runs off now-very cute seeing his little bare bum...but not when hes done a mucky nappy and i'm running after him trying to wipe it!

I haven't used washable nappies before, but i have to try and distract him the best i can. He pulls all the wipes out of the packet too quickly now though!

SS- amsumming he was there when Molly was born and was witness to you being cut open and I don't think a wee bit of sneezed spittle is anything to be embarrassed about! ROFL!
