I wasn't a fan of either, but on new year's eve I saw gareth gates play marius in les miserables. I thought he was amazing :D

Weezl - I am so glad you posted this. When you were missing over Christmas, I posted that you were going to the theatre on New Years Eve, and no-one said anything. Then you came back and never mentioned it. I thought I had imagined it! Glad you enjoyed it. :D

Thanks Krystal! All will be okay if I can have Lockets!

Gorgeous pic of Zac, csh! Does he like the snow, or is he unsure of it?

Well done SS, I have yet to start as I have a grizzly baby but will definitely get it all done when OH is home.

Loves the snow, and the wind and the rain! Strange animal!
He eats ice lollys and ice cubes for treats.:rotfl:

Edit - just to clarify I meant big beads around my neck, not on my nips LOL
I suppose just the tassels were enough on those ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hello to everyone:hello:. Have been AWOL for a long time.
DS1 has just gone over the road to a friends house. Phew a few hours peace at last.
School holidays that then run directly into two snow days are really taking their toll.
I'm a really horrible mum, that is praying that the school is open tomorrow, Joe is really restless and really needs to be in school being occupied.

I'm back at work full time on Monday, and it will break my heart to leave little Alex who is now 4 months old. Speaking of whom is getting grizzly, lots of hands in mouth and dribbling, poor gums, time for the anbesol again.

Snowy Wigan is blanketed in snow. OH had an argument with his boss, because he couldn't get to work yesterday, buses off, couldn't get car off thedrive. Boss expected him to walk the four miles to work in the six inches plus of snow. He declined rather unpolitely. Has gone in today, got a lift from someone brave enough to drive.

Oh now crying, have to go, this is why i can never get to catch up or post often. Sure i'll make up for it when back in work ;).

Hope everyone enjoys the snow and stays safe. I'm not going out unless i have too. (nappies are seriously low, sigh!!)

Before I forget, Molly has taken to grabbing the skin of my boobs when she's feeding, and it's hideously painful. Taking her hands away only works briefly. Do all kids do this and if so when does it stop?

I have a £1 Pampers coupon here, exp end of Feb. Any takers?

I have the same with William.... is voucher still availble? I have huggies ones (posted yesterday ) but no takers so far,

we just went out to the front garden and played in the snow; now i rememeber why I never made snowmen as a little girl!! It blimmin hurts your hands, and the snowman i made looks ridiculous. had goggly eyes at the ready, and katie went and lost one in the snow, so we now have a one-eyed snowman. looks quite martian-ish. photos on facebook!! :)
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Meant to ask SS, do you list on Ebay UK?

I do csh, German ebay doesn't do much in the way of what I tend to sell, and it's much easier to list in English :)

Awww thank you for remembering! It was amazing. We all cried including my brother and DH! I get something different out of it each time. In my teens the parts about unrequited love really got me, and this time, the theme of having to give your child away has me blubbing.

And keeping with all things deep and following on from last night's chat, my childhood was a bit financially unsettled too, and at one point we lost our house and moved from newcastle to the south to live with my granny. We were with her from when I was 8 and my parents are still in that house now! Sometimes dinner was inexplicably austere :D and I got teased for wearing oxfam clothes at one point.

not at all in the same league as some of you were saying, but a bit scary. And like all of you I think it does teach us things that last all our lives. For me it's a frugality nearing meanness :o and a desire to own my own house at all costs (or at least not ever to have business debts secured against it!). I also want with all my heart for Fergus and Kester to have a stable idea of money, rather than feast or famine. One year, only 2 years after the house loss we were staying for our hols in a 5 star hotel in London! (lovely. Also a bit confusing :)). I do admire my parents for all they went through though. My Dad kicked an alcohol addiction which was set to kill him. He is a very strong person.

Phew! Must say something light and frivolous now.......

erm we think we've found the exact right ml per day of lactulose that neither causes impaction and bleeding in lil Fergie, nor streams of liquid poo which track in a metre and a half golden arc across my kitchen :rotfl:

Morning All .. Or is it afternoon? I've been lurking/reading a while and lost track of where we are in the day ...

We had 8 inches of snow yesterday, and I built a snowman really quickly. Sitting doing not much today, and out early tomorrow morning for the Paediatric appointment (Physio has cancelled).
