Hi all
Sorry aint read back yet just wantred to update you all.
SS are saying they are ahppy for me to stay at my mums until wed, EX went in to see them with his mum and signed an agreement to not contact me, which helps.
I spoke also to the woman who arranges refuge places and even she told me to stay and play it by ear as she says refuges are for people who feel the need to get away and seek refuge, wheras I dont and she thinks maybe it;s worth trying to work something out where ss work with us all to let me and the boys stay. (she did say that it wold be unfair to put me in one if I really dont want to go and it's just like kidnapping! this was the woman who was having a go last week telling me about the man who shot his wife and daughter because she left him)
I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I'm doing all I can.
I've phoned up the womens aid helpline and got some good info from them, I phoned up somewhere else to get the ball rolling for an injunction, I'm going to phone another organisation who have something called 'sanctury scheme' which basially help you with securing your home, so I'm hoping ss take this all on board on wednesday, and they can see that I'm doing everything I can to make me and the boys safe.
They are also still seeking legal advice so they could still come back to me and say that the courts say if I dont go they can seek for a care order, but if thats the case then I'll just phone and get a refuge straight away.
God I just want this to all be over with, and yes maybe I should go but I know in my heart that we are not in danger anymore, Dan has left me alone for weeks, ok for the first few days he was trying to get me to take him back but he soon got bored when he realised I was not going to back down this time, he's seeing someone else anyway the poor cow.
And I truly beleive that the best thing for my boys is to go home, get back into their routine (which they were getting back into before the meeting) and be aroopund their fasmilies, that inculdes the EX cos whatever he is to me he is a good dad and I trust him 100% in that respect.0 -
morning :hello:
not caught up yet, but was wondering...
Mel, I think you have a tommee tippee monitor with sensor mat that you don't use with Kai?
I'm thinking of bidding for one on ebay, but it occured to me that I'd rather you had the money than a stranger! So pm me if you're at all interested, they've been going for £30 inc p&p, not sure if you were hoping for more than that
Hope everyone's well, I shall just go and catch up now
Hi Weezl, Sorry I have an Angelcare sensor one, I am still using at a 'normal' monitor but it will be used as a sensor one again in June....I doubt Kai will need a monitor at all by then!Dontknowanymore wrote: »Hi all

Sounds like a fairly positive meeting then, I hope it all works out for you and your boys. I agree that if it is safe for you to do so then you are better off at home. Hopefully everything goes to plan:)
Just caught up and have to run to school now, but can you all see how comfy I am....on the sofa, with my new lappy:p

Aless, try not to get into the habit of entertaining them all the time, it's good for them to spend time lying back on the floor/playmat/bouncy chair with a few toys to chew on/play with. He'll soon be letting you know when he wants tp play with mummy and when he wants to be alone with his own thoughts (hands mainly).
I've had 3 explosive nappies from Amber... hoping she doesn't have a bug....0 -
I can't believe I missed XL's announcement on here!!! Was I in transit or on holiday or something?
Congratulations XL, lovely, that's wonderful!!
i defo read it somewhere... maybe it was the pg thread but i very rarely go there now. think she may have started her own thread bout it. i remember asking if new baby was born before 31aug if that meant that both children would be in the same year at school.
will have to go and check, so i can point people in the right direction'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
