Well, I decided to properly start weaning Amber today, she has been starting to shove her hands in my dinner past few nights (luckily she decides she wants fed when it's put out so it's cold anyway). Today we had pears which kinda ended up a disaster because I put some in a pan to steam but left it too long and it burnt, got enough for a feed though, and they are yummy. All swallowed and not spat out so I'm thinking she's ready. And I can happily report that it has been almost 2 hours since her last milk feed :j

So now I need to go look for ideas to get a little stash in the freezer.

only!?!? you've done more today than I did all together in the 2 weeks OH was on paternity leave! Put thy feet up lady :)

Why have I never had apple biscotti?! I like the choccy one, our snacks of choice for Chris at the mo are organix, cereal bars & fruit bars and hipp elephant biccies or as he did yesterday while I was having a shower - half a bar of milka hazelnut :naughty::rolleyes: I had to laugh when I said "apart from being very naughty, you shouldn't eat nuts it's not safe" he replied "I liked the nuts!" :p

Half a spoonful of calpol and I have a completely different baby!

She's just sharing Aimee's tea of cod with oven chips... She likes the chips lol...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

I'm too [STRIKE]much of a snob[/STRIKE] tight to buy jars :rotfl: Have some fruit puree pots coming with tesco order.

Had a look to get some ideas though :D

Going to make up some cottage pie topping (tatties, parsnip, butter and cheese), carrot, roasted veg and pasta etc when the shopping comes. She really doesn't like the creamy porridge or rusk or anything and likes it to have small lumps!
