  • Hi everyone, it's AM here.
I am not using my old username anymore, made this one earlier but thought I ight as well keep it.
Basically I'm sitting in a Premier inn with my boys, SS basically told me I'm not allowed to go home, not even allowed to stay in my town, if I do they will apply to the court for my boys.
I'm absolutely devestated! I cant beleive it, they took my sim card an everything, I can beleive this is happening, I managed to go back and grab some bits (lap top obviously) but they made me leave the boys in the ss building while I done it.
I have to go to a refuge tommorrow, but thats it now, I'm not allowed home, I'm gutted, keep crying, my mum met me at the house and we just cried too.
What am I going to do? I have to start again, not my choice, I was so happy staying at home :(

Oh poor you :( As everyone else is saying, try and think of it as a new year, new start start and all that. Are they giving you any help?

Stay strong. You know where we all are if you need us, and as someone (feelie?) said, you could always come relocate near one of us ;) Take care and keep talking.

Carla, I dabble. Do OK, but it's just to get rid of Ambers old stuff mainly.

Firstly, search for completed listings of what you want to sell to get an idea of price.

Be fair with postage but don't do yourself out of money. Package and weigh stuff before listing then add some on for packaging. I hate seeing a 99p dress and £4.50 postage when you know it will cost £1.41 2nd or £1.60 1st class. £2.50 is what I take for postage of baby clothes, more if it's bundles, I'm happy to pay that for the stuff I buy.

Make sure your pictures are clear and well lit, nothing worse than blurry pics!

Be as descriptive as possible but don't make it personal (puts folk off as it makes them think more that it's second hand). In the description make sure its spelled correctly, use proper grammer and make sure its easy to read. Huge chunks of writing is off putting.

Offer to combine postage, if you don't mind posting over seas, say so but tell them to message you for postage costs before bidding.

uhm... thats about all I can think off.... Large items, if you don't want to arrange a courier, you can put down that you will charge such and such to package it up for them to arrange their own courier, but then you have to wait in for the courier to turn up.

Yes thanks, apart from DS's friend having a fit in my kitchen, they think it may be the start of swine flu, it's rife among the teenagers here. How's your house doing? X
