Happy shrieking... like "I've found my voice and I'm going to make myself heard" type. We had cooing and making sounds for ages but now we've got these long drawn out shrieks like he's having a competition with himself to make the next longer than the last!

ive just treated myself to a glass of wine.
i feel in a fed up mood, kinda bored. i got lots to do - but not the right stuff, is like washing n ironing n tdying n cleaning.
looking for a new job n trying to reorganise my cv at the same time. that coud possily be what is adding to my mood. i feel depressed thinking about going back to work. i hate it. :(

    hi everyone,

having been lurking, so know some mum and bubs haven't been well. hope all are on the mend now. we have had one of the sickness bugs here, but thankfully we are all over it.

hi to all newbies. hope to be on more as i will be back at work after christmas/new year (sob sob major sob).

elle - baby girl found her voice to by shrieking. would do it all through town too. i think she got over it after a few weeks if i remember correctly. we just tried not to make a big thing of it so she wouldn't keep doing it for attention and the novelty soon wore off. however, now we have 'mama', 'bye bye', 'bra bra bra' and was sounds like 'mine' at times. can't get her to say 'dad dad' for the life of us.

reading back i saw some talking about cribs. i got the swalings crib from kiddicare (not happy with them at the moment but that's another story). it is a good size crib that would easily to bubs to six months or more. the only thing at that point is of course not to have it swinging.

going to see if i can go back a little more and see what else is going on.

MFD if you are online at any point, thanks again for today x

ooh we have raspberries too :T they're slowly replacing the shreiking we also have attempts at 'th' 'w' 'p' type sounds which are funny coz he tries so hard but ends up just blowing air :p
My fave thing is Ed has a right little GSOH now, before OH was looking at the chinese menu whith it in the chair and Ed sat next to it, he kept pushing it off the chair and laughing at OH picking it up! :grinheart

Sami, BP was 80something/60something, so not quite as bad as yours!! Was horrible though, felt so light headed all the time!

We have excited shrieking here at the moment, usually when a cat comes into his line of vision. Huge grin followed by "di di di di di di diiiiiiiiiii" while either kicking feet if sitting or bouncing uncontrollably if standing :rotfl: he also did it while we were out walking and a cat jumped on a wall!! I cant work out if he loves them or is plotting death to all moggies!!
