Right then, what does everyone else have as toy storage?
We currently have a set of three seagrass chests (small=nappies and wipes, medium=Rhys' hospital paperwork, large=toys) but there are about three times as many toys as will fit in the large basket, plus playgym, toyarch, swing, bouncer and jumperoo... and that was before Christmas and today's delivery! HELP!

Bah humbug:p I can't take my decs down till new year...dunno why, I guess because that is when I feel it is really all over! Although the tre is driving me mad because I have to move the sofa to fit it in...so everything feels out of place!!!ladybirdintheuk wrote: »Just a quick flying visit as we are about to go to the pub to meet some friends and their baby (and to feed Izzy chips too I expect) but I just wanted to announce that Izzy has woken up from her nap with a third tooth thay wasn't there before - that explains why we were up half the night! I just did a dance round the house with her shouting "we've got a tooth" so she is very pleased with herself now
:Tfor new tooth:D Enjoy yourself at the pub.
We are off the the pub soon actually, to see my mum (she works there) only going to stop for 30/40mins thoughUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

Just to stick my nose into the sleeping discussion ....
Andrew is (unsurprisingly) still in his moses basket, but then he is still pretty smallHe does bash his arms on the sides now though, so I'm thinking of promoting him to the main cot for overnight.
Does anybody not have their baby sleeping in their rooms? It doesn't seem so :rotfl: Andrew's slept in his own room since two weeks after coming home, we just have the monitors going from 7pm until we get up in the morning. We found it didn't bother him being alone, even with strange noises coming from the ever-on PC in the corner (perhaps reminds him of the unit!), and we get a much better sleep, as the monitor doesn't pick up his small sleepy grunts.:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

Tigs, the boys were in their own room as soon as they were sleeping through. With Amber its more a question of space. The longer she is in our room, the more space they boys have. Plus, I'm not happy about her going in with the boys because they are noisy at bedtime and its not fair to tell them to be quiet when they have been used to playing for a wee while before bed.0

We had Elijah in a moses basket for 4 months in our room, then in a (giant, not very portable!) travel cot for another 2 months still in our room, then migrated him across at around 6 months. Was a pretty painless transition actually after all our anxiety about when to do it.0
