How long did everyone else keep their babies in their room for and what were they sleeping in ?
    Hi Fitz

Kezia is still in my room at 3 months yesterday (yay:T). Last night was her second night in the cot bed after outgrowing the moses basket. I have dragged the cot bed into my room, even though it's a bit cramped and I can only get to half of my wardrobe. I love having her near me and will probably keep her in with me past the recommended 6 months. But then I have no one else to worry about so it could well be different for people who actually have a sex life :rotfl:.

Hope you find a nice crib today, never tried one so I can't offer any advice, maybe someone else will be along shortly with some experience of one.

Hi Fitzio, I know what you mean about the moses baskets!! Toby is only 6 weeks and is almost filling it up!! I took it as read that he would be in it for 6 months, doh!! I am not sure what we are gonna do soon when he is too big for it, I might have a look on ebay for a swinging cot and see if there is a cheap one locally as that would at least fit by my bed in our room (ours is a modern house and not v roomy!!). Is that the sort of crib u r thinking of too? Have u looked on ebay? Although I will still need a new mattress... hmm.

If not I guess Toby will have to go into his nursery and use the monitors, tbh its not far from our bedroom but its the thought that I wont be able to glance over and see him, also not sure how he will settle.

elle ((hugs)) not having a good time i hope you manage to get some rest soon you really need it ..
CJ i want just dance and wii fit plus let me know if there any good ..

today im on strike there is nothing to do and nothing im gonna do im shattered, run down and ill after the last week and half of none stop running around i have my duvet and a large cuppa and the tv remote all is well x
    :)Still searching .....:)
  • SM I think they are both really got and I've got terrible co-ordination! DH managed to get Just Dance for £17 which was good but I wouldn't have paid £40 for it (which was what it was on amazon for a bit). I've only played the single player version at the moment (which still wears me out!) but will be a good laugh if there is a few of you.

Wii fit plus is really good, really impressed with all the bits on it and it has a baby/pet weighing program so I can check the boys weight (roughly) without having to leave the house!!

Right I'm off to have some brekkie and then get the house sorted as its a tip, unpacked the car when we got home and just left everything yesterday and had a play day. See you all later

Well, hope everyone had a good Christmas! I have been mega busy and not had a chance to come on.
Dinner went well with the 'rents and IL's all here! Kieren was totally knackered out by bed time and slept 10 hrs instead of his usual 9!

OH's birthday on Boxing day and he loved his Bluray player Hooray!
My birthday yesyerday and I am 30!

I am going a bit stir crazy now cos I can't get out with the pram. It snowed here on 22nd and 23rd, about 6/7 inches and before it had a chance to melt the temp dropped to -8 and now we have 6 inches of solid ice everywhere! Some main roads have been cleared but pavements haven't so can't use the pram! Can only go out with the 4x4 as our street is a wee side street so hasn't seen as much as a grain of grit, too late for that now anyway as the ice is soooooo thick. The temp has risen a bit today think it might even be as high as 0 but with more snow on the way this ice isn't getting a chance to defrost, not happy! Also the council has had the tip shut since 26thh so can't get rid of my xmas rubbish

Hugs to poorly mums and babies, so far we have been fine, touch wood x

SS – hope you have a lovely time in Chester. We are planning a couple of days away in Jan/Feb and thinking about Chester.

    Thank you :)

I'm super excited - I think we're going to visit the aquarium and a trip to Lush is also on the cards (what do you mean I bought everything I need already?!) :j

Molly still sleeps in with us at 4.5 months and will do so until at least six months and probably longer. She has a crib that she's mostly outgrown, we'll put the cot up when we get back after Christmas but she spends most nights in our bed. Co-sleeping is lovely - but it helps that we have a super king sized bed :)

(Someone mentioned sex lives - we just moved ours out of the bedroom )
