  • Thanks again for Jamie's birthday wishes :kisses3:. We had a little tea party with my family and Colin the Caterpillar chocolate cake! :D.

Maz, how cute that William wore the t-shirt! :). Sorry about your camera. DH and I nearly had a huge falling out when I realised he had forgotten his on our way to the boxing day party!

3, we had our hearts set on both a Bugaboo and a Quinny when preg with Poppy until we tested them during our regular trips to John Lewis and ended up with neither! We were advised that the Zia did everything the Q did but also reclined so in the end we bought it and Mum now has it as hers. It is really light and easy to push and folds over when closed so is really compact for the boot. The downsides for us were that the handle height is not adjustable and it doesn't take much of a carrier on the handles to tip it up!. I bought it online at Boots in the end as it had money off and mega points ;)

Hope everyone and LO's are getting better. I was thanking my lucky stars what we were all on the mend until my friend who we all saw on xmas eve told me her son now has chicken pox!:rolleyes:.

    xx

my problem is i used to depend on going sports direct for all zoes clothes as they've lasted the longest with her and they seem to stop for girls at 7-8 .. sometimes 6 then skip to adult size x

Sami Are you about? You're a Costco regular aren't you? Do you get your nappies from there? We went yesterday and think we figured out the Pampers worked out quite a bit cheaper than the asda 2 for £18 offer. Have we worked it out right?

I drove OH insane walking around - he kept picking stuff up and saying bargain, then I told him its cheaper in Asda/Poundstretcher/H&B etc etc. Apart from my bargain heinz beans and Jack Daniels, I think the food/cleaning stuff can be found cheaper shopping around. What do you think?

DH and I go for the 'experience'! :D. We don't really buy that much but like having a look around and then having a bite to eat at the end :).

I haven't really looked at the nappies but will do next time! ;)

    xx

    ...so please be gentle!

Two boys, Zak 3 yesterday, Cam, 9 months today.

Just wanted to post a gentle alert to people (who probably all know about it, but I did search for Cbeebies, and didn't find it), but anyway...

Sent a lovely card off to cbeebies, in hope they'd read it out. Cbeebies usually on pretty much all the time kids are awake, however, for once I (dad) put Beeb2 on on his birthday. Anyhow, within ten minutes his card comes on! Brilliant! Even though dozy presenter accidentally rips it! I rewound Sky+, and recorded it, brill.

Here comes the problem though. On cbeebies, they did different birthday cards - and then repeat those ones throughout the day. Zaks was never shown again, just on BBC2, once (which, as I sday we caught).

So, if you do send a card in, you'll have to check BBC2 that day (if its a week day I guess), as well as Cbeebies.

I'm very grateful for the beeb for showing it, but just wanted to alert others in case they are disapointed, but in fact Auntie showed it on t'other side

    Thanks

  • Evening all. I've not really caught up since this morning. Is anyone feeling any better - Elle how are you doing now?

I just wanted to recommend this high chair while I think about it. MIL bought it to live at their house, and Izzy seems really comfortable in it.
