Evening
Welcome and congratulations to all newbies. (For me the feeling I'm doing it everything wrong hasn't gone!)
DD has been upset today as there wasn't a party! She enjoyed having all my family round yesterday, so I have promised to organise a party for her 3rd birthday in April.
I've just been discussing it with my DH and we've decided that despite it being mainly adults I will still do party games and the adults will have to join in.

Struggling, if I'm honest..OH bu99ered off to bed claiming he was tired, leaving me with a very fussy Rhys. I just feel crap that I can't play with him. I ended up almost shouting at Rhys so OH dragged himself up. He got home at 5pm and has already had 2x2hr naps
Spoke to FIL earlier.. he's not eaten since SaturdayHe's already very poorly and has a no immune system (takes tablets every Monday to kill it off or something) so he's lucky he's not ended up in hospital. 16yo niece also had it but it only lasted 24hrs for her, but then she is very fit and a hardy horserider.

 I may not be any help in that case.
Mine is 9, but only just 4' 2".The couple of things I found today were age 6 that she's just grown out of.
I will have a proper sort out once they're back at school - but will check sizes with you before passing to the fairies.
We're going shopping tomorrow. Mum got them all little things to open, but said she'd take us shopping for clothes this week. I'm wondering if its worth going, or wait til the sales finish and they get proper stuff back in.
Thanks for the pram review SB. Its always better when you get a review from a real person.
I've found it direct from Petite Star including cosy toes and bag for £100 with free delivery. Just the pushchair in most other places is £125 ish. (99.59 in Boots atm).:beer:0 -
Poor you Elle - is he (DH) coming down with it too do you think, or is he just being a b00ger?

Elle - it's a hard life isn't it. Mine couldn't do anything tonight because he had been looking after Izzy all day... so I have to do it all when he has been at work and I have been looking after her all day, but then I also have to do it all when he has been at work and I have been at home... and when we've both been at work too
There's some special logic there.
Mind you, we have both been lazy tonight - takeaway on the way home and the plates are still on the floor. Never mind - we're having a staying at home day tomorrow, so we can have a catch up and stick to a normal routine for once. Might get a nap in too with any luck
Oh, and those babies are scary! Very clever animation, but scary... my instincts are easily fooled, I spent the whole time I was watching it fighting the urge to try and catch them to stop them hurting themselves too. Stupid mummy hormones.Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009
