He's living with his parents atm, and when he has the kids, which is Sunday till Monday, I really need to make sure that he is sober when they are dropped off. It feels like too much to ask anybody else to do. Plus both carseats are fitted in my car and they would be a nightmare to undo and refit in somebody elses.
He told me today he will be getting his own place very soon. That will open a whole new can of worms, for there is no way im leaving my kids alone with him. Im not sure how things are going to work out at all.
His mum says she wants him out because he is coming into her home every day drunk!0 -
Oh no, what a situation to be in
Do you have a solicitor? Are you going to have terms of contact for him seeing the kids?
Sorry, I really dont know about this at all, all I remember is when my parents split up they had some document stating that my mum would get the house, my dad would pay the mortgage and he was allowed to see me on Saturdays and had to give 24 hours notice if he couldnt that week, it also said for X amount of weeks he had to be with me in the house while my mum went out, then for X amount of weeks he was allowed to take me out but I had to be back by X time, and then after X amount of weeks he was allowed to take me to his new home but I still had to be back by X time. There were no issues with my being safe around my dad, just my mum being akward!
I'm guessing a solicitor could draw something up similar which states he needs to have medical help before he is allowed to see the kids or something?
I'll butt out nowMummy to

GISI, sorry just noticed your edit from this morning...want to get a carrier just like yours actually!
How long did it take to come from the US? Slightly cheaper to order in dollars than from a UK store I think but also don't want to be waiting months.
It took 7 days, which I thought was pretty fast taking into account the fact that it was December! I absolutely love the sling and highly recommend the seller (this seller http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=34375205&ref=sr_list_19&&ga_search_query=mei+tai&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title).
Just been having a clear out whilst backing for our three nights away . No-one tells you how much stuff little tiny babies need for a few days!
My fairies have a couple of items they would like to pass on- a white jersey BFing bra in 36E, worn a couple of times but a bit tight for me. Also a size 14 Mothercare nursing top- the kind with an extra layer inside and poppers down the front, IYKWIM. It's grey and white stripes. Fairies are away till the weekend but can post at the start of next week if anyone's interested.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hi all..
Feeling like slightly lukewarm death nowSounds like it's norovirus, kindly brought to the house by the community nurse who was off work with it early last week. Plus there are four wards at the hospital closed because of it. Muchos joy!
Not being ill anymore but I'm so weak I can't hold Rhys for long and he's kicking off with OH cos he wants to be with me - all happy and smiles when he's sitting at arms length from me, but screaming the house down when OH lifted him up and I can't entertain him for long because all he really wants to do is bounce.. on my tummy - no thankyou!Just wanna cuddle my baby but daren't risk getting close and him getting it
Woe is me... sorry
(virtual!) *hugs* to all xx0 -

Thanks Em
I will probably end up having social services involved. He took ME to court to get custody of our 8 YO when we split before. I got SS involved then and he was given joint custody but his custody had to be supervised by his mum.0 -

Mrs M, hope you get everything sorted the way it suits you, I would be happier having the kids at his mums for visits only if it was me, but then she may not want that
Elle, hun, hope you feel better soon
