How about the list of names/babies goes at the beginning of the thread ie: 2nd post after the BG's post, and is kept upto date by PM. Like in the grocery threads on the os board. ??

So what should your entry be NMS? :D
This sounds like a good idea and is what I had in mind originally, but on the PG thread it gets updated throughout the thread as it goes along. I think it would be better at the start however.

debt is a horrible thing. once ours is clear...i'll never use credit again.

we owed at our worst just over £18000
we now owe £1382. would have been paid off at christmas but...we had Kian instead ;) once its cleared a set amount every month is going in our rainy day account so next time something goes in the house i wont need to borrow from my mum :D

Tigs - OH rang me as I was reading your post about Andrew and the extra scan. He wondered why I was in floods and didnt get they were happy tears that Andrews done so well. :o Im in Longsight so not far from you, was Andrew born at St Marys?

Wooooooooooooooooooooh! I go through Longsight on the way to the hospital - yes, Andrew was born at St Marys about a month after the new hospital opened, and that's where his regular consultant appointments are too. You realise that we're actually obscenely close and should get together occasionally?

Is the doppler the one where they measure the blood flow in the umbilical cord? I don't understand why they don't just do it as standard at the 20 week scan.
Yes, though my problems were actually the feed INTO the placenta rather than from the placenta, down the cord to the baby.

    Here's mine

ManOnTheMoon - Dad of 7 girls aged 9-16, relatively new lady friend (i'm too old for girlfriend! :rotfl:) The cool is because my girls think I am. I've somehow managed to convince them over the years and it's me that's lost the faith in my coolness, not them :rotfl:

    Very very wise.

I'm glad I own my own house outright, so don't have to worry about mortgages or any kind of loans. Other credit is, and always has been a bad idea :o Useful to have the option in genuine emergencies, but not for things like ebay or shopping!

What barstools MOTM!! It isn't even your daughter's place to make such a decision, I can't imagine the thought process that would place such an important task in the hands of a vulnerable child GRRR

Feelie, did you enjoy your relaxing afternoon?

How's everyone? I love flex time, finished at 3.30 and was home for 4.30 :D left early today because of the Manchester derby, no way was I getting stuck in that traffic.

Learnt more on the system today it is actually quite easy and better than the previous system (which was installed in day dot) the only confusing thing is
you do everything back to front :o

Does anyone know a cure for getting rid of a stiff neck/shoulder? Must've slept funny last night and it blimmin hurts. Took some strong pain killers but felt woozy?
