Ah yeah sorry, i thought you were saying that in response to my earlier post that you should knock another sprog out :rotfl:
Aless i've got one too, she's being a lil blurt. Wondering if she's having a growth spurt she's feeding LOADS today. Sleeeep, child0 -
hi everyone,
i know i am going to forget things, but here goes :-
caz - so sorry to hear what a horrible day you have had. brilliant HV though. i hope you are able to get in and see the doc and also have a rest on your own for a bit if your mum (or was it MIL) can take the little ones for you.
harley - high temps arent pleasant are they. when LO had a really high temp during the night it really worried me but i managed to get it to come down a little. ended up that she had a virus.
feelie YAY YAY YAY on going to someone's house today. brilliant. it will be so good for you and oby. gorgeous pic by the way.
buttons glad you have got your PS appointment and pants about your neighbour troubles.
MFD yes, i too bought a sophie before i left work from the same seller as we all seem to have used.
sm i dont feel i can say anything that anyone else hasn't said, but i really feel for you. hubby and i were going through a bad patch a few years back and it just seemed that nothing would go right for us and everytime we thought we were getting somewhere, something else would come along and knock us down again. we really felt we must have been horrible people in previous lives. you and phillip have each other and the children xxxx
okay... what have i forgotten0 -

I think it depends on how hot you are on sterilising!!
Personally, and this is probably not the right way at all, I would sterilise a bottle now stick the milk in and leave it in the fridge until tomorrow. Or sterilise a bottle and seal it up and add milk tomorrow.
...or just feed whilst out and about??
Edit - can I add, I am not a big fan of babies having super-sterile stuff though! I sterilise to make sure there is no nasty milk bugs growing. Once sterilised I am not bothered about a bit of air. Others disagree!!!

Just in the container I expressed into. For some reason I was thinking the teat needed to be sterilised closer to when it will be used, but I'm sure I'm just being neurotic:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Thanks chick! I struggle to get photos of him these days because he charges towards me and grabs at the camera!!! What with that and his silly smile printable/postable photos are few and far between *rolleyes*got-it-spend-it wrote: »Just in the container I expressed into. Sssshhh - I have never used the tongs that came with my steriliser! I just grab the teat with my hand...sometimes I wash it first

My thoughts on sterilising are similar to MFD. I use it to rid equipment of nasty milk bugs but feel babies should be exposed to a certian amount of bugs, otherwise how will they pick up any immunity?DS Anthony Steven 07.06.92DD Becky Emma 24.01.94DD Rose Grace Jean 12.05.090

My mummy is having him while I go on bridesmaid dress and shoe trying on duty, so I like to leave a bottle just in case!
I've put the milk in the bottle and it's in the fridge now. Can't come to much harm in there, can it:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
