SM - I've just sold bits and bobs - a pair of boots I've only worn once cos they didn't feel right, a jacket DSD has had for about 4 years and worn twice (bit peeved about that actually - it cost me £34 and I only got 99p for it!), a dalmation print snowsuit that Caitlyn's grown out of (again paid £11 on ebay about 3 months ago, got 99p!).

Ah right...are you finding Chris wants to walk a lot now? Does he still use the toddler seat on the P&T much?

Just out of interest what age do those of you who have (have had) parent facing puschairs keep baby parent facing until? Does that make sense...What age do you turn them forward facing...god I am crap at getting my point across today:o
yeah Chris walks mostly now, we don't walk far though, usually just round shops n stuff, I'm thinking of getting a new buggy for while he's at nursery so Ed has my undivided attention (poor kid is probably sick of the sight of me lol)
the point of parent facing as far as I'm concerned is to never turn them round, or do you mean where it goes from pram mode to buggy mode?

I also really need to get my bum in gear and start having a look about for an MPV, but I think I will need a minibus, as I often find the 7/8seaters have tiny boot spaces and I will need to fit a double pushchair and huge hairy dog in somewhere!!!

Hmm, I was about to say, we've got a little boot but not big enough for the buggy when the back two seats are up. If i've got 6 seats up, I can get the buggy in the 7th seat space iykwim? If we meet up soon, or you come to the TC, i'll show you. :p

did anyone see my ebay post earlier .. would anyone be able to answer x

You can sell just about anything else on ebay! Most of my selling has been baby clothes/equipment and my stuff that I bought as a shopoholic and didn't wear!
I start most stuff at 99p, and make sure the postage is right/fair and in my mind, if it sells for a couple of pound, its better than it being here cluttering my already small house.

My statement from the beginning was that I wanted even numbers of children, and he says he's in for two or four or six, but if we have six we have to pick the four favourites to go to university and teach the others circus skills. He's delighted that we've given up the contraception again, not that it lasted more than a month...

Sorry, missed it earlier but can answer now ... I don't make it worth my while! I use it as a de-cluttering mechanism, with a few quid thrown in for good measure.

eta - I see 3 uses it for the same reason!

Aless please elaborate on the 5 S's. Oops, took too long you already have :o

I find the bambinex have to be changed a lot more frequently than the tots bots or they leak too. I bought about 15 when boots reduced them so determined to make them work! The mio's are multi parts I think, Ive not looked at them for months. Eek, just remembered theirs a full set of One Life nappies under the cot too, best dig them out.
Ooh, forgot I'd quoted this one... I found the One Life really big on Caitlyn when she was smaller, they come a way down the leg, even when the top is folded over...

I never turned the seat of the big gay pram round when Aimee was younger... I stopped using it when she was about 2 1/2 but towards the end I only really used it for short trips and the buggy was for town and further...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

    Evening all

Jenny - would love to co-sleep permanently but a) I miss OH and can't have him in the spare room forever and b) I would worry that, like some have said. it would be very difficult to get her into her own bed. In 6 weeks or so when she gets to the 6 months (dunno why I'm sticking to that but there ya go) she'll be in her own room in her cot. At that point, I will be trying to be strict and get her to sleep through properly so I don't have to keep going in to her.

I think I will try and get her to settle by herself before midnight/1am for now and, if she makes a big fuss after that, bring her in with me. OH is gonna sleep in with me next week cos he on lates so no need to get up early and that will stop me giving in to her so easily cos there won't be room. Or will this confuse her too much? I just don't know 'shrug'

    Sorry - very long reply!!

As always, hugs to all xxx
My baby girl :kisses3: September 09 :heartsmil
  • Mel - LO's big pram is still parent facing as my dad uses this for his 5 miles walks round the island and he likes to chat to her. If we are in town usually her buggy is front facing but if its really windy I turn it round. Depends on the child and what there is to see I suppose :)
