Hi 3, well the plan is that I go back for three months (or however long, so I don't have to repay OMP), then look for something altogether different, and much closer to home. I live in Southampton, but work 30 odd miles away over in Dorset. When we have the next babkins I intend to become a SAHM, but I guess that depends how I feel about being home with two teenies.
Anyway - Emily (thank you for asking) who is about 9and a half months old, is a gorgeous, gummy, non sleeping, laughing, furniture cruising, mobile phone eating whirlwind! Her sleep has recently improved, but, like her father and I were as babies, is a very early riser. She'a also a scoffer too, took a while to get into food, but now she's a proper little piglet. OINK!
Think I'm going to head off to bed now, thanks for being so welcoming, going to make the most of having the bed to myself before DH gets in from work.
'See' you all tomorrow!

He was £250 from my budget so I rang OH and was pretending to argue to get more money
OH was very confused about what I was saying at my end :rotfl:so I put the phone down and said he wouldn't budge so the salesman gave in, what a wally!!!

Hi salimali - nice to see you. I often wonder about the ladies that had babies and then don't pop in anymore.
FWIW, going back to work has been (mostly) good for me and Benjamin. Not that it is all rosy but it can work, especially if you like your job. I think it makes you treasure every moment with your baby again like you did when they were teeny weeny.
Annie - do you enjoy your job? What hours will you be working?Does anyone have one of these birth to toddler chairs, wee man can escape his bouncy chair now but it's very useful to have wondering if I should get one.
We had a bouncy chair that he used to bounce and boing across the room and then a bumbo which he just ended up being whingey in and then escaping. Once Benjamin was moving he didn't like being sat still IYSWIM. I use his highchair and take it with me if I need to keep him still. Or I stick him in his cot with some toys if we are upstairs!Anyhows......don't think about work for now. How is Emily? What is she up to at the moment? Sleeping?, Eating? (Ooh, I sound like MFD!)
But a little slower??
Was thinking about the beautiful V today when Benjamin was trying to stand up in the high chair at the pub we went to for lunch!! My boy deffo has the climbing bug at the moment!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Ooh mel you're just a day away from my due date last year
All 3 of my babies are fast asleep - except the huge one next to me is snoring! Caitlyn may wake up soon though, she tends to stir once, I feed her then she's out like a light again.
DH at work again tomorrow - another long day on my own with the kids - I wouldn't mind but he's worked every single day for the last 3 weeks. I get behind with the housework and stuff - not too bad at the mo but upstairs needs hoovering and dusting and the bathroom needs cleaning. At least the washings done so we've got clothes to wear!Sealed Pot Challenge #817 £50 banked0 -
Incidentally... I'm considering getting a poundshop pee stick next week...
Rationally, we've been very safe, and I don't think I am... But I had 1 AF in December and at the beginning of Jan I (tmi warning) had a lot of mucus and lost 2 blood clots but nothing else... I've had loads of period pain on and off since...
I dunno...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Mel - I'm just looking at parent facing options, might never get one but just window shopping at the mo
Ah right...are you finding Chris wants to walk a lot now? Does he still use the toddler seat on the P&T much?
Just out of interest what age do those of you who have (have had) parent facing puschairs keep baby parent facing until? Does that make sense...What age do you turn them forward facing...god I am crap at getting my point across today:oUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
