Well I complained to Thorntons about their lack of customer service which resulted in me having to pay a premium postage £7 (!!!!) before Christmas as they took 4 days to reply. Not good enough at that time of year. I told them I'd lost out on a free hamper and all that postage and told them to sort it out. Postage refund and a free box of Continental.

Happy Valentine's Day Mr JT :D (BBE date is 28th Feb. and I'm on a diet!)

Well done Thornton's for finally sorting themselves out!

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A

mary op - what i`ve done with address book, for me anyhow, i think about what the website is about in one word, like craft, and i list all websites under c for craft, i used to do it on the computer but the hard drive went faulty once and lost everything.

elysia 2003 - thank you for the card review...i `m sure yours are just as good. I personally love homemade cards

junior j - handmade cards can work out expensive, but its your choice how expensive you want it to be, if you use google and type in free backing papers, you`ll get loads of sites giving away free ones you print yourself. They even have verses. Ideas . Theres a tread on mse devoted to it as well and people on there say where free stuff is.

You can use everyday items to imbellish them, like beads, buttons , cotton wool , foil, anything really.

Sorry i cant post links yet, i`m not old enough in the posts...

Im actually in the process of going around charity shops because alot of them sell craft magazines for 10p and alot of the backing papers are still in there. Or an alternative look at magazine subscriptions, find the name of a craft mag. Go on there site and download them.

Best I shut up now as i can go on all day, "the works" is cheap as well and they got a sale on, as reguards card, shipley, bradford best place if you can get there
    :) thank you very much

If you have Word on your computer then there's a lot more you can do too. Using text boxes I have made lots of different sized messages e.g. Happy Birthday. I make lots of different coloured ones so I usually have one in the write colour and style to match the card I've made. They add a nice bit of detail to the card.
Another thing you can do is make your own toppers using clipart. Microsoft clipart is good (and safe to download). http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/clipart/default.aspx They have good frames and borders which I have printed out before too.

That's just a few links to start you off :) I love finding free craft stuff, not only for me but for the art and craft club I run at school - the more free craft stuff I find the better as kids use A LOT!
    Thank you for the links!

It could be the banks fault, although when you buy from the seller the money gets transferred at that moment, it can be upto 5 days later before the money goes out.

The best way I can think of getting around it, (if your 100% sure the money hasn't been paid), it will show on ur ebay account as item not paid for, the same will be their side, get her to reissue an invoice, then you can repay her.

If you leave it to banks or paypal to sort out, just go back + forth as no-one will admit liability xx

Apologies I took the -24 as a description (sorry)

If your paypal account has -24, it looks like its paid the seller, but for some reason the bank or card you have tied upto the account hasn't put the money into cover.

I'd give paypal a ring and get them to confirm exactly what is going on with the account, then your bank,

Not that I'm disputing the seller. but does it show on your ebay account as not being paid? xx
