    hi all

This might be a daft question, but I made some stuffing balls and some in a block as a trial run but I've completely forgotten what it's supposed to be like when cooked.

The balls were firm (golden) on the outside and soft inside, the block was firmish all through.

They're just very plain and simple, no meat.

    Hello all :j

elysia - decorations up already ??? Cant think about putting mine up till about a week before christmas.

rufus - not had chance to look at your blog yet but I will..........;)

Angela - just asked OH about your stuffing balls (I havent a clue.........lol) He says crispy on the outside, soft in the middle but its a matter of taste really.........some people like them soft right through in which case not to leave them in the oven too long............if hes wrong........his fault not mine.............lol Oh and he also says 'did you like them'

Better day today.......buttons stayed in their box and I set to and did three jars of brownie mix...........very mse........used old coffee jars, had all the ingredients in the house anyway, free fabric samples were perfect for little 'hats' and I tied them round with string.........very rustic. More jars drying on the drainer at the minute hopefully ready for tomorrow.
Two Beatles DVDs (free apart from post and packing) arrived for eldest son whos Beatles barmy..........found two empty CD cases and put them in so they look a bit better.

Didnt get down town shopping........our lad had college where he normally gets Mondays off.......so, that'll have to be another day now.

    Hope you're all ok..........:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Xmas Saver!
Thought things were going too well, dad (bless him), he took me to Telford (he absolutely hates) had to take some of dd's clothes back to Primark, nearest.

Got that done, had a little wonder, got a few odds ands sods, nearly dinnertime, we were in Asda, thought I'll treat him to dinner, good prices, he had Christmas Roast, which was stone cold, and we had to microwave ourselves, I faniced chicken and chips - no chicken, but if I wanted chicken tikka I could swop the rice for chips. Fab, best of both worlds, just after eating dinner, felt bit wheezy, - just thought its my astma playing up, coz its an inside shopping centre. Left went to the car, he was driving home, (15miles), as he was driving, thought this don't feel right, looked in the mirror, my face had swollen to twice the size, gone bright red, with a rash that was going down from forehead to chin-line and down my neck, my toungue had swollen up, felt like a brick in my mouth, asthma was playing up again - thought here we go a+e, much to dads annoyance, the here we go again.

We decided be quicker to get to the NHS walk in centre, than a+e, checked in, theres about 4 people infront of me, next min nurse calls me, - everyones looking as thou I'm queue jumping, she takes one look, i'm not happy - get the doctor, I'm more worried that I queue jumped, next min there running around with injections, apparently I had gone into anaphylaxis shock, and what I thought was asthma was the airway closing, theres poor dad sitting in the waiting room, - the doctor calling 999, only remembered dad when I was being wheeled through the reception on a stretcher..... the nurse had to fill in him, ..... - he ended up going to get mum drop her at the hospital, fetch Miss Hoodie from school, and bring her up, they wanted to keep me in, but we came to a comprismise - that if I got mum to book a docs appointment this week- they want me to have an epi pen and allergy testing and all my ops were normal by 7pm could go. sods law my pulse wasn't going down as well as they wanted, but at 8.30pm, they said I could go, more becuase of the living arrangements, and if anything happens were 10 mins from hosp, but I'm not to be driven it has to be a 999 job...wake the neighbours up, touch wood be all clear.

Miss Hoodie she was more annoyed that the bed wasn't an adjustable one, it shock her when I got her, it shook the heck out of me, it didn't really sink in till the doc said how serious it had been and how lucky I was. But touch wood its not happened b4 in 39 years, apparently the 1st 24hrs are the most cruicial, if its going to happen its going to happen then, so move the sleeping arrangements...... Miss Hoodie has bagged my double, dads in her room, and mum and me in theirs.. shes large like me and snores - hanging to the last minute!!

Toddles off to sleep with mother .... (help!!!) xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
