Wow Toothfairy - do you fancy doing mine? I's panicking now that the person won't like what I chose. I can blame you then. :rotfl:
Morning everyone. I got up early to check on my Asos orders got off the grabbit yesterday. Last time I only placed one order and this time I was daring and placed two.
Rufus - I'm glad DD liked her bag. I remembered you showed us pics, but I don't remember a black and white one. Now wonder she liked it, I bet it looked brilliant.
Well done on your table top stall Mum2one. Like you say every penny helps. I'm gettting really excited to hear everyone's totals, whether you've all managed to be money neutral or not. I lost my spreadsheet, but I know I am, I still have money in my special Christmas account.
Esmer your brown christmas paper sounds brilliant. I toyed with wrapping mine in brown paper this year, but I bought so much in January it might keep me going next year too - there again, you have to see the boxes of presents I've got - I might need some more.
Wagner's still in the X Factor - I might give up watching it now, it's a bit of a joke. I liked Paige, I'd rather Cher went, she's a bit too cocky and full of herself.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

There's a massive M+S offer on their Beauty Gift Sets over on the grabbit board
Prices range from £2.50 up to £29.50 for the big box sets
I came out with 6 gifts for £32.80, including 2 of the £29.50 sets saving nearly £50 and the rest ranged between £9.50 and £3.60
That's some gift sets for the Christmas Eve Hampers now sorted, a gift for me and one for mum's birthday in Feb or Mother's Day!
I'm really pleased with this and I'm collecting from store to save the delivery costs

I have just opened up my Delia Christmas Cook book, because I finally feel in the mood.
I know I am late, but whatever I do will be a saving and better than what I could buy in the shops - cos it'll be homemade.

I have just spent the morning starting up a blog at last. I have been wanting to do one for ages but not got round to it. Only trouble is I have tried to add it to my MSE and when I click on save changed it doesn't add it. Is there anyone around who has a home page and can let me know what I am doing wrong please? I have gone into edit my account and typed in the page where it says my home page but when I click on save changes at the bottom and then go to my name on a thread it doesn't come up with the page in the list. When I go back to my account the bit where you put the home page is blank again. Rufus xx
Edit to add I have sorted it, was missing the HTTP on the front of the address. Feel well posh now having a home page lol. I have added photos of some of the things I made for Chrismtas last year and for this year that I had already on the computer. There is a photo of the bag I made out of recycled magazine on there. I will try to take some more pics tonight and put some more on. Ooh exciting lol !!0 -

I'm feeling a bit Christmas giddy today!
Think its because I've bought a few more stocking fillers and gifts for next year and now I'm nearly done! Going to drag myself up to Mr S in a bit to buy the glass bowls and use the voucher as I can't make head nor tail of my assignment - I cannot make sense of what needs doing - so think some fresh air would help this virus and clear my head a little too and see if I can concentrate when I get back and have a go at a few paragraphs
Just thinking about a Birthday list now for Feb

Do you want me to put the recipe up?
So sorry for not replying, thank you so much fedup for putting the recipe up!
mum2one - hope you get everything sorted out with Miss Hoodie in the school!! Big hugs to her. Well done on your table top sale!
diddly74 - you too! Hope it all gets sorted in school today!
SugarSPun - boo to your evil neighbours!!
elysia - jealous that your decorations are up!! I'm having to wait until the 1 Dec at the earliest! lol
We had a Christmassy weekend (well, going to see Harry Potter yesterday counts right?? That was very MSE actually - we went to the Odeon, Gallery seats (free food and drink) and IMAX screen, should have cost almost £20 EACH but we had £30 worth of vouchers so only cost us £9 total.) - did a mini CHristmas shop on Saturday (with lunch at Pizza Hut using a £10 voucher!!) and then sorted through all the pressies we've both bought Saturday night whill DD was in bed. We were SUPPOSED to chat about the Christmas period (it's a bit of a logistical nightmare! lol) but didn't get around to that, so I might pin him down to talk about it tonight!! Feel like I'm getting there now though...
MUST post on my blog - it's just been so mad here I've hardly time to keep up with you lovely lot, let alone post on there! lol (Rufus - LOVE your paintings!!! Am now following you!! Haven't looked through all your stuff yet though - will do soon!)
