I am off today from work , sicky and run down :(

This cold/chest infection is not shifting either.

    Anywho

I am going to be doing my English Essay today AND having a proper sort through a list making of my Christmas things. Forgot to add my brothers mug I brought of play.com arrived today! The box looks a bit battered though so may take it out and just add snowman soup and wrap in cellophane. Box makes it looks second hand off a boot sale.

Any ideas where to get pots for pots of gold from? xx

Phew - i`m back...lol, had a few days of getting stuck into craft fair items

and believe it or not looking for a record....the description i was given for the record was its about 50 year olod, played on our honeymoon everyday and goes " dum ti dum, dum ti dum, dum ti dum" ???? And the blokes names evans. Well i found the record a 7" vinyl , god knows how....i just have to work out how to get it on a cd to make a photo book, thats actually the tricky bit as i dont have a record player, i have the software to do it though....lol .
Apparently the people who want it have been married 50 years and spent alot of their 40th looking for the record. They cant believe i got it from their description after they phoned the tv and radio...so i`m the hero at the moment...lol

I know people do it on ebay for a fee, but i`m a bit worried about posting the record after i took so long to find it....

Hope your all well and junior j wrap up and chill out, ....

    Our lager

    Which art in barrels
    Hallowed be thy drink
    Thy will be drunk
At home as in the tavern
Give us this day our foamy head
    And forgive us our spillages
And forgive those who spill against us
And lead us not to incarceration
    But deliver us from hangovers
    For thine is the beer
    The bitter and the lager
    For ever and ever
    Barmen

Thats the pint of socks poem

    Heres some snowman soup labels

    Brilliant, thank you susan!

mum2one - Your christmas cake making looks productive! Wow! Hope Miss Hoodie is feeling better.

Sugarspun - *puts fingers in ears and goes lalalalala* I'm not listening about you finishing your shopping for next year!! lol

foxy219 - lol that made me laugh about your chocolate stash and the kids begging you not to tell Father Christmas!!

Legendmum - big hugs for your DS!

esmer - LOVE your flannel dogs!

chasingsunshine - Congrats ont he bump! If it's any consulation, DD was born about a week before Christmas but I still missed on on Christmas because I wass BF so couldn't really drink! lol

mary-op - thanks for good deeds calendar!!

esmer - that poem is lovely!!

mcjordi - *waves* good to see you! I thought our communal forum husband had left us! lol

junior_j - wrap up and get well soon!

    Big hello to everyone else!

I'm having a mini panic - know the majority of what else I'm getting but still waiting for blinking Greasypalm to give me my Amazon voucher! Apparantly their waiting on the code??! Amazing really seeing as Valued Opinions give the voucher coes instantly!! lol Mind saying that I'm £1.25 away from a £10 voucher from VO too but the surveys are taking ages to clear....

However, DD's pressies all sorted. AND her Christmas outfirs mostly bought! And I'm well on the way with organising my Nan's 90 Pressies (why did I offer to organise everyone with that?? lol). It'll be fine, it'll be fine, it'll be fine....

Plus I want to make a card for the Childminders with a packet of seeds in it ("Thank you for helping me grow") but wanted to give seeds that would be useful - like cress, sunflower, that type of thing - you know, stuff that can be grown with the children in the spring. But I can't easily find any seeds at the moment..... anyone seen any?

However, on the plus side, my jewellery is selling well! Think I made about £100 over the weekend! Got a few pictures up on my blog but must remember to add more!

Just nagged Dad into starting to think about making the Christmas cake. He leaves it far too late sometimes!

Can i suggest that we have a Christmas Challenge reminder half way through the month?? lol Just a reminder to check our own status with the challenge. I forget.....maybe on the 14th of the month, 10 days before ther next one??

Phew, sorry that was so long!
