Just popping in to say hello! Not posted for a few days - things have been crazy busy at home!

Not done much in the way of christmassy things - got a few more things for my aunt and uncles food hamper - best bargain was 2 jars of christmas chutneys from M&S for £2.50, came in a nice box too.

Sorry to hear mum2one you are not well and junior_j.. I pride myself on never being ill and now I have a UTI! So annoying (and painful) - I, too, am staying close to the bathroom! However, I mentioned it to my boss today (work in a hospital) and she gave me some antibiotics! Saves me a trip to the GP :D

    Good Evening ALL,

I meant to say, I got 4 pint tumblers in Wilcos for a 1.00 for my Pints of Socks....... I also got Silicone Xmas Tree and a Gingerbread man, black and white socks all out of poundshop for my Chocolate slabs for the kids. I also started my own blog....... rofl My Vista Calendars arrived, very pleased with them. My voucher arrived for FREE John Frieda hair colour :) and because it was 6.95 in the til at boots, I got a 5.00 voucher for skin care, so another pressie I can get for hampers.
I also got a scarf and gloves in lovely pink for 9.00 from debenhams for mums hamper....... saved a 5.00 with my text message debenhams voucher.

I have now glued 12 little socks for my advent calendar. I need more felt and my aunt picked it up for me from poundland. Waiting on the glue to dry so I can blanket stitch them :)

Welshgirl, thanks for the Peppermint creams. Mmmmmmm
Lengendmum, glad DS is feeling so much better
Mum2one, so good that DSI turned up.
Mary-op, you must have needed the sleep :)

Mcjordi - we usually have our Christmas tree up on the 6th. Too early otherwise - need to get halloween and bonfire night out of the way first ;). I might put ours up on Sunday - will see how I feel. :D

Mary - the magnet didn't arrive again then? Grrrr.

You're doing well Esmer - I saw your advent stocking on the other thread. It looks lovely. Well done. :D

Susan - I packaged the Sizzix Elcipse back up today to send back for a refund. I think I got caught up with the fact it was on easi-pay on QVC. Almost £400 was a bit OTT. I'll look into getting something cheaper. How much are silhouettes? How do you find them? I'm not very technical are they easy?

At the NEC: I bought loads of stuff from the every crafts a pound stall. A new Martha Stewart punch. Some card blanks. Some wire - did you see that lady who made the fantastic bows for presents? I went straight away and bought some wire in tonnes of different colours (just need the ribbon now) so I can make my own. I got some stamps (probably about three sets). I bought lots of beads for jewellery and bag charms. The most expensive thing was that gem gun thingy, that applies hot fix gems - I had a gem setter that was like a brad, but the arms that fixed it at the back of fabric were scratchy if you did it on clothes (ifyswim) - these will set flush and be permanent. I can also set gems into so many things now, and not just fabric. Woo hoo - so many things to play with and so little time! LOL

It's on again March - so best start saving. :A

Just watched Marley and me :( Saddest film ever , don't watch it over Xmas what ever u do :( xx
Me and my mum just had a argument over a baked bin tin lol. Now she won't speak to me... im not even sure what I said wrong lol! Whoops x

I sobbed my heart out with that film, the 1st time saw it at the cinema, the whole lot of the people came out with red eyes. When we went to Tunisia last yr they had the film on, but had apparently got no headphones, but they put the film, Miss Hoodie and me were on the front row, - the one stewardess said could you let me know when the film ends - just said once all the when the tears start - give it 10 mins......they were running up the aisles with tissues.

    Good luck with mum......xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
