Cookie crumbs, going to Harrods after work, very posh compared to our pound shop outings :rotfl: Seriously, hope you find something nice for your hampers - and especially hope that you don't find the exact item somewhere else miles cheaper!

That's what worries me about those kind of stores, you can believe they are the only ones that stock those type of goods, then get a nasty surprise.

Hubby showed me up this weekend - granted, I was working of sorts, and couldn't have done anything myself even if I wanted - but he's 95% finished his Chrsitmas shopping!!! I'm quite proud, but also annoyed he finished before me!! lol I'm almost done though - just waiting for some Amazon vouchers from greasypalm....

I need to check the chili jam, red onion chutney, and other bits I made soon - they're all at my parents house at the moment though. Hope they've ended up ok....

Anyone remember those gift packs for boys or girls that you could order for just P&p?? Well I've not seen any sight of the one I ordered and I can't for the life of me remember the company?! Any thoughts people??

Also, you were so good helping a friend of mine last week - my other friend has a 12 year old son (nearly 13) and he's only really interested in the xbox. He's also quite spoiled by his dad (but is still a lovely boy!) so doesn't really want for anything. She's no idea what to get him!! Any thoughts??

Broken Cake?Did anyone see the episode of "something for the weekend a few months ago.They had some lovely colourful lollipops made with broken cake.Can even be cake thats dried up.I will go on a link hunt,lol.

Clare - have a look on the ''nearly freebie'' board....there might be something on there about the gift bags.

Well, at last got down town to get a few bits and bobs................diaries to cover (49p from sue ryder shop), lovely woolen embroidered beret for sons girlfriend for £1.49, some notepads (10p each) from local stationers ............then on to sweet shop for bon bons, marshmallows, little 'millions' for joke pills, cheap choccys to pop in a jar and some bars of chocolate to cover. Got some paper from craft shop for that. Was going to get some felt from the little sewing shop but the lad we look after was with me and by then he was driving me senseless.........I was starting to forget what I wanted...............lol
Got home and wished I'd got some lovely patterned paper to do kitchen organiser..........think I'll nip down tomorrow.
Least now I've got two more ''make it yourself'' snowmen done, empty drinking choc.jar was white so filled that with bon bons, added googly eyes, some shaped lips and found a lilac fluffy bed sock for the hat..............young girl who cleans for me loves lilac so she''ll love it. Joke pill bottles now filled up.........just need to cover diaries and choccy bars...........our lad decided he wanted to make something for his sister plus a card so I had to down tools for a bit................lol :rotfl: Am now worn out...........well mentally anyway...............lol
Oh and stupid me...........should have got some nice paper to cover the diaries.............not sure what I've got lurking about will look right..........oh well we'll see.

Taking me ages to catch up with all thats gone on and I'm bound to have missed something:rotfl:

Made flavoured vodkas last year with sweets ( rubarb and custard, strwaberry drops and lemonnsherberts), they were nice if a little sickly so fruit ones will be nicer I'm sure!

Hehe dont be stealing my crown.I am officially the most unorganised ,chaotic person I know,lol.

I get brain bursts,but that is a dangerous thing as it means I easily drift into the umpteenth thing.I dont think I ever get anything finished.
Hubby said he will do some wrapping with me.

PS.Does anyone know wherre I can find a compilation of stores on MSE.Like Halfcost.95p store.M&m direct.Etc.There was one beginning with Boo....something.I cant find them afterwards.Wanted to show hubby something.
