The rose is a favourite flower of ours, they are red for the ruby. The only down point is the card is tall and slim so can't really alter it with decoration and if my mum received one free too what would she say to receiving this for the anniversary. It's a lovely card, nicer than many anniversary ones I've seen
What to do?
The card sounds absolutely lovely, def use it, red for ruby, like roses. The other thing is you can personalise the inside with your own message,
In Morrisons, end of aisle, they had Disney music cards, buy one get 2 free..... all the pop stars, there was Hannah Montana - thinking of Miss Hoodie off Bailey - £3.99 - ok the offer was good, but was sods law, no other 8 yrs her 2 best friends 8 in Oct....... but to think someone would pay that for a card. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hello all :j
fedup -you could always stick the card onto another larger one, add some ribbon or a little bow or flower and it'll soon look a lot different I'm sure
I've spent most of the day clearing out the drawers in my other desk.........couldn't believe I'd got so many pens that didn't work  Least I've got some left that do.
Top of the desk needs a good sort out now........I've a habit of buying those little sets of drawers and whats in them I've no idea.............can't think its anything important and maybe I could pass them on among my christmas stuff to someone who will have the space and needs them more than I do.:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I havent been out today or yesterday, waiting in for sky to phone which they didnt.
Long story , which shortened is:-
They cut my broadband off thursday night.
I phoned asked why, after numerous checks they said its on, i said it isnt, after the usual 5 people 4 and half hours on phone. They told me they were going home, phone today. 1-2pm, they didnt i phoned them 6 people later (57 mins) They know they cut me off but i`m still paying, they have to cancel broadband on paper, and restart it:eek:
Why?
"Dont know"
how long it going to take?
"could be 1 week, one month, a year, maybe 2" And when i receive email telling me it cancelled, they can then put it back on which is another 14 days"
ME: so it could be 3 year 14 days
Sky : yes
Me : HUH?? So when will it be connected again
Sky : Dont know, i could give you a date but i`d be lying!!
Me: Can I speak to a manager?
Sky: We havent got any....but i could send an email and get someone to contact you in 72hrs....
So ladies and gent , Is this normal to treat someone like this? I have phoned them twice since but am getting no where. My last phone call i asked could i cancel the broadband and they said I`m not with them.....even though they agree i`m paying them.
HELP........ Has anyone got any advice for me, i`m pulling my hair out here, . And who knows when my broadband will be back onChallenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
Tell them you don't want an email, ask for an adress for the company director/ head of customer services and an address for you to write to with an official complaint. Ask them to call you back or credit your payment for phone calls you've made re: this matter.
I don't see why you should be paying for a service if you're not recieving it- seems like stealing on their part!
Make sure you take down; times, dates and names of people you call if you need to refer to them. At the moment I don't think you could take it to any official agencies but they must have a proper route for complaints...not on is it?!
You haven't gone over your monthly limit?
