  • Yes Angela 50 pots does seem a little excessive doesn't it, but hey they were a bargain, and we all love a bargain don't we? :j
A small Thank You can make a BIG difference ;)
  • Thank you so much Mummyslittleboy, SugarSpun and PipsMum. I just couldn’t get my head around what to put in!! Mental block.

Well DD already loves a bit of mild cheddar and she’s only almost 9 months!! lol

Well I'm an emotional wreck since having DD!! I used to watch all sorts of stuff and I think I've only ever cried at anything on the TV once, and that was the film The Green Mile about 8 years ago! lol Yet blinking Coronation Street and Eastenders have both done it to me recently. Coronation St when Dev's little boy had the bump on his head and he was getting seriously ill, and then tonight when Stacey and Lilly were stuck in the burning pub!!!! Absolutely useless I am! lol It's only anything to do with children though, which is obviously natural...but blimey. What a wreck I am. Blinking good episode tonight mind. Kudos to the whole cast.

CD - I am absolutely the same, I was quite `tough' before I had Aidan and now I sob at silly things! Weeped buckets last night whilst watching Derren Brown!!!!!!

Another cheese munching boy here. He stands at the opne fridge yelling "more, more, more!" He said a new word for the first time today, I was changing him and from nowhere he went "oh poooooooooooooo" at least he was at home and not in the middle of the shops!

My DS is 3.5 years old and his main communication is makaton as he has limited speech he can say Mum,Dad,Nannoo (his sister and her name sounds nothing like it ) He has just learnt his other sisters name and he says CHEAP this means cheese he eats chedder, brie, cheshire and also likes stilton its all he eats breakfast,Dinner and tea and I am not joking:D

cdsmiler I think as Mums we can all relate to others circumstances especially when it involves kids and we do get a bit weepy its only natural:D

    Morning All

cdsmiler - How about bubbles for your stocking? Mine used to love having them blown for them - in fact it used to keep them good if they were waiting for the bus or something and getting a bit fed up.

I'll go to HB and see if they've got any of those grandparents' books left and then I can post 1.

Free listing on ebay this weekend.

    Have a good day all

    Hello all :j

Been busy today just for a change...........all started with me looking for earphones for our cheese-eating now green nail polished teenager !!.........:rotfl: None of the ear phones fitted his phone but I did find a box that was handy............covered it with blue patterned paper (box was dark blue inside) and made 12 notelet cards for my friend to put in with her birthday stuff. I'd got a book I'd had for ages with pictures of victorian children in and rather than send it to the charity shop I thought I'd 'recycle' them............so I managed to create a pressie that just cost me the paper and card.........pennies really and I've got some ribbon to tie round it.
Young lad came to clean the windows inside and out so now there's a bit more daylight showing..............lol He might come and do a bit more work for me in the garden (fingers crossed) -got a little fence thats falling down and needs replacing plus a load of stuff I don't have room to mention................lol:rotfl:
    Ooops..........dinners ready
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

  • Is this ok to do? I received 2 free red cross cards which have a beautiful red rose design on the front. Is it wrong to use this as the ruby anniversary card. The rose is a favourite flower of ours, they are red for the ruby. The only down point is the card is tall and slim so can't really alter it with decoration and if my mum received one free too what would she say to receiving this for the anniversary. It's a lovely card, nicer than many anniversary ones I've seen

fedup, what about sticking the card onto a bigger one? Use some nice background paper and stick it onto card or else use ready printed cardboard. That way you can make it any size you need.

When I went to a wedding, I had cross stitched the card and felt it needed something more interesting than just an aperture card, so bought a wedding card with a background design which was all over right to the edges, stuck my card into the middle and it looked really nice.
