    Hi all

Clare, I haven't done anything plant related with my slim fast tins which I guess are about the size of your milk tins, I'm using them as a secret place to hide biscuits and other things from my children LOL

Hope you don't wear yourself out back at work after your baby, even if the work isn't that busy at the moment.

I've just this minute finished covering my desk - greeting cards as well as a pack of printed glossy brochures curtesy the freebie thread (printed samples). I think it's a good way to keep computer time at a minimum which is good for me - because it looks very busy and a bit too much on the eyes!

mum2one - well done on your course assignment marks.

Mary - doesn't ice cubes work for a nose bleed?

Yesterday I re did my keyring and keychain as everything had got tangled and very heavy. Added different bits for emergency info for me and DS2 (special needs) for the times he's home on a visit and I take him out.

It was a bit of a nightmare because the current see-through cross stitch keyring that I normally use was impossible to open. Then I tried with some new ones - couldn't open them. Eventually ended up with much lighter cheap plastic (5 x £1) luggage types from the pound shop but they were also hard to deal with (tiny size) so a bit of swearing was going on with them too LOL.

Anyone know how to open those cross stitch keyrings?

Clare - how big are the milk tins ? (more years than I care to remember that I last saw one)
I've used the good old gravy tubs to put plant markers and string in plus couple of tea lights but if they're bigger (wider) you could fit other stuff in as well - packets of seeds (herbs maybe?)

Angela - read somewhere about ice cubes........never plut my hand to them when I want to.............lol Too busy having a panic over loo roll and cotton wool.............lol Also read somewhere about putting vaseline around the nostril and just inside to keep the area moist. Must admit I do get a very 'dry'' nose.............oh dear.....apologies for being so graphic........;)

Going to have to re-do one of my handbag charms..........I'd done one and decided to keep it then young lad we've got looked at it and said 'thats a bracelet !'............and true........it is, I just added a little silver charm and a little lobster ring to hook it to my bag..........and there was me thinking I'd been so clever...................lol:rotfl:

    Hi

I was just unpacking some shopping mum did for me (heavy bags of flour etc she and dad get when they go out in the car) and I came to the tin of golden syrup I'd asked for. It's a ginormous size and I'm scared to leave it out when the children are home, discovered it fits exactly into the slim fast tin - so yet another use for it.

Mary if I ever see anyone in a charity shop with cotton wool plugging up their nostrils I'll say hello LOL

Re noises in ears - I often get high pitched noises or doorbells ringing - very annoying in the night when I keep thinking someone's there. Doctor said its tinn whatsit :) probably caused because I've got TMJ and a lot of tension in the bones in that area near the ears. It also causes a lot of wax.

Do you have TMJ by any chance?

Mum2One, I noticed earlier that you posted after 2 am the other day - bit of a night owl?

Great present Mum2one - the credit card thing is a good idea to. Martin :money: recommends it - isn't it called stoozing or something like that?

I'm really organised so far and completed two of the challenges. Have sorted all the old toys in the garden, old scooters etc and have got rid of them. Trouble is we must have 10 footballs and DD won't let me get rid of those - Will have to throw one away at a time so she doesn't notice. :rotfl:

I have also done the summer emergency kit - everything was put in a bag to take on holiday, so I haven't unpacked it - it has plasters/suntan lotion/cream for bites and stings etc. As it's altogether if we go on a day out we can just grab it and go.

Have to redeem my tesco clubcard vouchers for deals so we can have the tickets in time for summer hols (they take a while to come) so i'll gt on to that this week.

I have two freezers but its only thechest one that needs clearing (eveything gets lost at the bottom) will try and do that this afternoon. :)
    I :heartpuls M.S.E.
