    I absolutely LOVE it! :j

I will definitely be stealing that idea. I'll make one each for my nieces and nephews as one of their Christmas presents. I did the toolbox of sweets last year and they loved them and said they were really funny :D I might even make one for my teaching assistants at the end of term as I'd like to do something a bit different this year rather than the same old bathy stuff.

You'll need to stock up on wooden barbeque skewers as the sweets are held in place in oasis with them. They might be hard to find at christmas time, whereas with it being barbeque season (I wish) there's loads around at the moment.

I bought mine from wilkinsons 47p and oasis from home bargains 79p but it will do about 6-8 depending on size of pot. You could even use a mug, that way they get a gift AND sweets.

    Hello all :j
Like the idea of a mug with sweets of bars of crunchie etc. in it............think I've got some surplus mugs about that haven't been used to it'd be a fairly mse pressie:)

Not done much today except bit more to scrapbook.......intended going into town to get some more paper but it was so hot and I'm not so good in the heat (honest, it's never right for me............lol:rotfl:)
Wrapped up grandsons pressie ready for OH to post tomorrow-just card to do and he'll be sorted.
Got some more cards to make for July birthdays (only 2 I think) -really must get on and do something (button necklaces and other bits and pieces -kick up bum somebody please ?)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

    Hi all

Clare here is a video of the cake made entirely from sweets

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKEyYYN6hzI

There is another type called a Pinato where you have sweets and toys inside a cake that has to be broken as it has a hard outer shell from chocolate. There are lots of variations on this which you will see if you do a search on the name. Some people make the inside purely of sweets built up in layers, not in the way that is shown in the link below.

    Thanks Angela, they look fab!!

Sorry, bit quiet at this end. Done something to my neck so feeling like a robot today! lol Sure it'll disappear overnight though. Hope you're all well!!
