  • Me to please I'm fed up of spending the month of December too exhausted to enjoy friends and family. I definitely don't want to spend another Christmas like this one where i throw a years good work out in December because i am too busy/stressed to keep track of things.
  • Everyone sounds like they are having fun in the sales, I have managed Tesco's after plumbing in my mums washer and her dryer for her this morning and doing the tip. Will have to have another run there tomorrow as i couldn't fit everything in the car and it was so busy couldn't be bothered with the second trip. Might try and get to boots tomorrow and asda and see whats still left. Did manage to get all my wrapping paper 75p for 12 meters, bows and ribbon today, and I have enough xmas cards for next year so will only be buying the special ones while i'm out this week. DS2 has cut all the xmas cards up and we have made tags for next year, and I have recycled enough gift bags to cover everyone too so well on the way, need to go through the pressies that are left in my boxes so I know what i need to get over the next couple of weeks.

Right I'm rambeling now, time for another coffee (or maybe a wine;)) nice to see all the newbies joining, welcome to the mad house guys, hope you all have fun:D

Popped out & got my wrapping paper and labels today. Then wrapped all the kids 'stocking presents' (things like socks, vests, pants, books etc)

I have decided to limit my spend next year - was really disappointed at how ungrateful my kids were this year. It's not like they have loads either, they just seemed really unimpressed with everything. I really wish I had flogged DD1's Go-Go Hamster on Ebay and had the extra cash instead!

I'm going to make an effort to buy the rest of the family better presents - no cheapy soap sets and socks!!

I am also going to join your thread this year.
I started following the thread during the year but never put the ideas into practice but I will be now. Going to sort out all the events next year including birthdays, valentines, mothers & Fathers day, weddings, babies, christenings so I can budget as OH and I wanting to start planning our wedding.
Thanks for all your help in advance.

Can I join too? Wasn't sure when I first clicked on the thread title but now I've read this far I've decided I want to.

I was organised for my own children fairly early but suddenly remembered everyone else a week before Christmas.

I don't think anyone will have really noticed me, but I did follow this thread towards the end of last year and posted a few times. I'm here again and hope to be even more organised next year :D

I hit the sales today and managed to get some lovely half price gifts from the Monsoon sale, gorgeous girly things for my neice and a fabby handbag for my Mum.
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
