Anyone have any lovely Mother's Day ideas please? I've bought her a "Thanks Mum" book which is nice, but need something else to go with it too!Sealed Pot challenge #508

I've re-covered a box I had some notelets in, made some greetings cards and a little sachet type thing for stamps, covered a pen with pretty paper and am giving that to MIL. She can't get out to get things like that for herself.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Thats what I tell dd as well!!
Picked up two little grandma keepsakes in a charity shop today was going to save them for mil for mothers day but I already have a few things for mothers day so I think i'll just let the bairn give her them today to cheer her up, her hubby is in hospital and she's run ragged at the moment. Only cost 1.50.
That sounds lovely, bet she'll appriciate it more 2day.
I have to confess I tidyed up my bedroom, it took me 8 hours, dd helped (or shall we say I like that, found £2.00 on the floor and was never seen again.
I've done wardrobes, draws, under the bed, behind the computer desk, and even tidyed up my toilettries........
20 Showergels
10 big body butters
10 small ones
8 mascaras
10 lillys
Gave up after that........ but there all nicely tidy in the corner.

Mary - getting the wrong size coasters - always the way when we are looking forward to receiving something - but sometimes mistakes can end up with new creative ideas.0 -

But it was for a birthday not Valentine's Day. The recipient was very happy so it was worth it. The yarn was left-over from another project. I did post this earlier on the thread. Thanks so much for the challenge
He's gorgeous, very cute, well done....
I managed to make a card for hubby this evening for Valentine's Day... nothing too elaborate but I had to make it quickly because I'd left it till the last minute (as per usual).Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
