    hello all :j

jamtart - love your blog and the scrapbooking layouts will be a good help to a novice like me who doesn't know where to start.

Spent today painting little flowers on some blank notepaper I'd got that I can pop in MIL's card box for Mothers Day, then had second attempt at painting a beach hut for sons coaster set...........well two beach huts as this time they're not the size of a shed............:rotfl:
Might finish it off tomorrow then all I have to do is wait for the coaster to arrive, pop them in and thats another thing done for his birthday shoe box.
Trying to make sure I finish off what I start and not have loads of 'half done' stuff everywhere.........;)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Hi all, Ruby hello to you

Mary - how are the beach huts getting along? I always like the look of them on cards etc. Coasters will look good.

Thanks for the links jamtart. I've bookmarked them to read later.

mum2one - have you got a loo obsession? Or have you been reading that thread at the Arms forum about women and toilets? (relating to Martin's blog) :D

    How's your tooth?

Sarah, have I missed something about free roses?

Angela -well least they don't look like sheds any more and even OH recognised them as beach hut........lol:rotfl:
I'll feel better when I've had another look at them tomorrow and done a bit of 'touching up', added some birds or something

Just ordered green colour wash trug and ladybird pattern kneeling pad of greenfingers site for foster daughters birthday..............just need to fill it with other stuff now. Got some small gardening tools (freebies from somewhere) gloves,(99p) with flowers on, gardening apron (mine I never used) - might recycle gravy tub to hold plant markers and thinking about turning one into a string holder........punch a hole in the lid............should be ok.
    Feel I'm getting a bit more organised now............well, maybe.................:rotfl:
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mary.. That sounds lovely. A couple packets of seeds and you're done, I should think.

Welcome Ruby, come on in and plonk your bum! All the challenges are on the first couple of posts. This is about getting organised for Christmas and birthdays and all the bits in between. We have a challenge every month on the 24th. Currently, it's cleaning out our freezers.

There is another thread you may like too - Thrifty Gifty money making - it's about earning the money to buy the presents in the first place. The challenges on there run from the first of the month. Challenge at the moment is to save £20 by not buying something you want and putting that money away. Also, lots of us write reviews on Dooyoo.
