Well done Sarah but they've all gone now, so I hope you got yours fast.
If you're not crafty re the scrapbook mum2one. You can do photobooks online - I've ordered them from photobox before now - just wait until there's an offer on.
My Mum's 60th was the November 2008 - I made her a scrapbook, and with all the embellishments etc it must have cost over £150 so it's not a cheap option unless you already have stuff you can use. I was starting from scratch but I still have tonnes of stuff left that I can use on other projects.
How about a family photoshoot? The four of you have photo taken and you get and take an 8x10 one home. £45 from buyagift.com. Shame you missed the offer the other day - you could have had two (one for mum and one for mum's friend for only £1.99 p and p.I :heartpuls M.S.E.Mortgage Free 18/01/10 13 years and 8 months early on a 20 year mortgage!

Mum2one - does your mum like cooking? Perhaps you could put together a book of her favorite recipes or maybe you and Miss Hoodie could make her her favorite meal?
Puzzle books? Jigsaws? Cross stitch?

Well, new phone came today........thank goodness..........I have a signal and just have to work out the text bit of it............keeps coming up with HHHHHHH when I want to say Hello....................lol
I'll get there -not let it beat me.
Covered little box with slatted lid for son's birthday box.........that took me nearly all day...........oh I am a slow coach. Mind you we had snow today so it took my mind out of gaping out the window at it all.
Hope you're all ok and hugs ((((((:o))))))) if anyone needs themI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Mum2one, good thing I wasn't eating when I read your 'too much information post':eek:0

Mary - you need to turn the predictive text ON. Usually it's by pressing and holding the bottom left had button (has been on all of mine) until it says T9 or something like that.

Thats a good idea, I had 2 sets of mini photobooks the yr before when 1st went on Orient Express,

Unless 3 pairs of childrens craft scissors count - nothing!! bet mum was pleased with that.

xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Plan 101 - or at least it feels like it..
mums present
Hopeing (got to check the access etc 1st) was when we got to Wales was take her to snowden up on the train)
as dads bday July as well - plan is to buy them an Adults passport for Ironbridge george museums, (hoping their be bogof on walkers trips if they do the promotion again this summer).
Shes on crutches - really struggles to get around, but even if she does one or two of the visits be worth it. The main museum we can take Bailey with us. Good family day out.
Little Miss hoodie wants her to have a 65 box - (typical), so be daft box, few pens, sponge, tissues, 65 badge, anything can get cheap, so be a few homebargains visit:cool:
Get them the TV between them as a main present.
Do the family tree - got to locate the posh paper
Load the mp3 player up for her.
we'll take her out for a family meal........
Thinking of maybe doing a small buffet at home, sunday afternoon in the garden, few relatives and friends, so the kids can play in the back (all fenced in), adults sit in the front garden (tidyer of the two), keep bailey in the kitchen, so if anyone wants the loo, then they can go in through the front door they won't disturb the dog, and she won't be in a strange environment.
Does that sound ok? xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0
