Tesco no show for pre christmas shop

I was sat up waiting, when I did get hold of him, I had no choice in the end was just told by the delivery guy he doubt he'd make it anyway :-( . and I still have not heard from Ocado who emailed this morning saying they will call to re arrange delivery. So it's not the fact I didn't get my delivery I understand that It's Ocado's lack of communication thats annoying me.

Tesco's canncelled mine .. I have collect from store ... Just awaiting on Waitrose who are running very late .. my delivery should have beetween 11-1 so hopefully soon ..

I got my sainsburys shop ok this morning , he phoned to say he would be half an hour late ,
I even got a voucher for 10 quid to be used on my next shop online .
i too tipped my driver a couple of quid .
only had one item out of stock and 3 subs :T

I called Sainsbury's earlier who said they would try and get as close to us as poss....unfortunatley hubby couldnt get back from work and with a 9 month old and 3 year old there was no way i could go and meet him and bring £100 of shopping home. Just emailed hubby the list so he can brave tesco on his way home!!

Do people tip their drivers or is it just a Christmas thing? Are they allowed to take the tip? I know staff in stores are not allowed to take anything.

I know staff are instore are not allowed to take anything , but for goodness sake , this driver really tried his best to get it to me , so i was pleased and gave him some money

Anybody else stuck in with no shopping delivery Ocado. It would not be so bad if they phoned to tell you. Mine should have been here at 11.00. I know the weather is awful.

I cannot go out as my bones break (osteoporosis) at the least move, so no food for Christmas.

I'm still waitng for my phone call. My delivery was supposed to be between 8 -9 last night:-(

Just phoned to find out what was happening. I am his second drop so he should be here within 1 hour. No special courier deliveries either, I ordered last minute present. . So I had better dig out my last ten pounds for a tip, as I cannot get to cash machine either. I take it that is the going rate then?

no , you dont HAVE to do it ,
i only gave a couple of quid , not a tenner
