Congratulations on getting your own home YM. I remember that feeling. A long long time ago now. But its all so exciting isn't it Good luck.
Thanks
I already know what colour scheme i want in which rooms and i've picked out my dining table (if theres space) which I think is more important than a TV but literally nobody else I know does. Family meals, albeit a teeny family of 2, versus TV. We can watch DVDs on my laptop for the time being if we have to, plus no TV = no TV license, bonus! I have a massive hoard of kitchenware and towels etc. I got my (plain white, go with anything but still quite modern looking) plate, bowls etc for £3.94 i believe from Tesco 75% off and almost everything is was 75% or more off too. 3Years worth of planning and stocking up, how sad am i??0 -

No your not sad. you're building a home for you and your child. That makes you a good mum. How well you've done getting all these bits together. I remember when i was young we called all this saving and buying things for a new home to be, as a bottom drawer, cos thats where you kept it.
Also you're beeing very good thinking about no tv, well done. But just try to make sure you dont make things to hard for yourself though. You do need a little light relief.Debt at 01/01/2010 £130 MBNA :T
