Ooh lots of ideas to spend £365+ on from xmas pressies, January sales, house deposits, skiing, holidays, new kitchens. Woo-hoo! Really good to hear what people are saving for. Keep the motivational ideas coming!

I'm hoping to put our (DH is also contributing) £365 towards a laptop!!!! Have a PC which is now almost 5 years old and is very slow!!! Would normally have just put one on the credit card....but not now.....hopefully will get a good deal in the sales in January!!:j

As for spends I was thinking sales but then I know i'll just buy rubbish i don't actually need........ toiletries and clothes anyone :rotfl:

So I will prob wack it on one of the CC's. it seems such a small amount to take off the huge debt but at the end of the day it is a lot of money that wouldn't originally have been put towards it.

As far as our own house goes I am praying 100% (110%) mortgages make a comback at some point this year would love to have my own place by next xmas but can't see it happening otherwise. unless............. everyone could donate their £365 to me in January - go on you won't miss it - promise :j

It won't seem like 'such a small amount' by then, you've got almost a whole year to go, your CC's will be sooo much smaller by then

An amazing thing happened! My DD actually brought me some change home from money I gave her yesterday! After I had recoved from fainting I popped the £2 in my tin. £5 now! Hubby due back from working away tonight. Might raid his pockets. He'll think his lucks in. :rotfl:

Just plonked another £4 in the old purple giraffe - she smiled at me!
Have been reading through all the ideas of "What I would do with the money?" and I think that I'll just be chuffed to have any spare money at the end of the year!
The way my gas meter is going round and round per chance I should give to the "Gas Appeal -give generously" :eek: methinks not :rotfl:
