My extra is only because i opened a savings account with £20 then decided to use it for this so set up a SO. If i stop the SO til it's even i'll end up not setting it back up or stopping it again in the year sometime, i'm training myself to think i can't possibly change it so I can stick to this lol.
Some people are putting in whatever change they find lying around too although for me this goes in my piggy bank and then gets banked and used on CCs when it's full and sadly sometimes i actually rely on it so that wouldn't work for me.0 -
another £1 for me today am now on track just hope i can keep it up.0

It's personal preference, I'm not unless we get the 365 members then an extra £5 will go in. Other than that then a pound a day for me.
Another £1 today this will take me until Friday, I like being ahead of myself :rolleyes:Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

I am just putting a £1 in per day. But if i find any pennies or have something over from shopping that i feel i wont need, i put that in too.
Everyone is different. Good luck.:TDebt at 01/01/2010 £130 MBNA :T

Bah, I'm doing rubbish. I need some ebay sales to get me back on track
although Im not sure if diverting revenue from sales that was intended to pay off some debt and putting it into the £ collection is really moneysaving :d

I'm saving just £1 a day for this challenge and all other spare change is going into an openable pot where I am aiming to have saved up £100 in cash as an emergency cash fund to have in the house or car.
I'm trying not to use my debit card for any spending at all (just a weekly cash withdrawal from the bank to cover that week's spending or cheques if a payment needs posting). I have managed really well so far this year. When I have my £100 cushion, I may start another savings pot for something else but I like the idea of keeping my £365 as an achievable goal with money that absolutely, under no circumstances, can be touched!0 -
Well done everyone so far :T
I am up to Thursday, I am marking each £ I put in off a calender which is helping me stick with it
