Hello Everyone, I`m a total `newbie` to your forums but am really interested in the challenges you have set yourselves. Where can I find out more info on them or can someone point me in the right direction on here? Thank you.

    Hello Bella

Lovely to see you on the thread. A huuuuuuge welcome to you. The challenges are many and varied. If you click on Debt Free Wannabe on the forum you will see the different threads available and some are challenges you can get involved in. I lurked on here for a year before I started posting and then another year before I joined a challenge. Now I live here! :rotfl:Not all challenges are for everyone. Its about choosing what suits you. Just pick one then build it up from there. Hope you join this one. :D

It's funny how achievable and easy this sounds, £1 a day, surely everyone can manage that...but then you think it'll be around £30 a month and my budget is just so tight...even if I want to go on one holiday, I need to find extra money from somewhere...I'll think about this one though...

Hello, always a good idea to think it through first with challenges, you could always give yourself say 3 months to save and see how you feel at the end of it,whether it was harder or easier then you first thought.Doesn't have to be a pound a day, chickywiggle has made this challenge nice and flexible, good luck with whatever you decide to do:D,

I'll need to think quickly though, otherwise there'll be lot of catching up to do...I do 'Make £10 a day', but this extra money is destined straight to CC or anything else I need I have not got the money for...

Yeh I know what you mean.. when I do the £10 a day I always aim to use the money for something "special" as in debt, holiday saves etc, but it usually gets chipped into from the very beginning and I end up just counting the extra money I make rather than manage to keep as savings like I first set out  :rotfl: (but then, if it wasn't for the challenge I prob wouldn't make the effort to do the extra bits which get me the cash to start with, cos I'd have nothing to spur me on)

I really want to do this challenge as it sort of ties in with the £10 a day for me.. £10 a day is what I aim to make extra over the month, but £1 a day is all I really expect to save from it in the end :o

My £1 is saved for today. Keep up the good work everyone !
  • Added £3 in to take me up to tomorrow. This month is going to be hard to keep up as we are already reaching the end of our budget. Luckily we won't need many groceries... (we hope) we will be eating out of the freezer this month!!!
