The 2010 crazy clothes challenge

Ok, so I only started in February, and it is only the 5th, but February has been so much easier on the not buying clothes front! Though I may need to get some tracksuit bottoms for the gym. The one's I have are completely covered in paint from painting my wee flat so I looked a bit of a tramp in the gym today. I'm hoping it distracted from the terror, pain and sweat and blood oozing from my pores. :rotfl:Anyway, I've decided not to get new trackie unless I can keep to going to the gym regularly over the next three weeks at least
I also tried to persuade my friend to join me in this challenge, but the colour drained from her face and she refused point blank. She'd just bought a pair of shoes and 4 dresses in the Jane Norman sale. I almost cried; it's about the only "real" shop I shop in. On the plus side, I'm the same size as she is so she spent almost £60 but I'm prepared to beg, bribe or barter to borrow her clothes - and I won't have to spend anything.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Lula, my bargain £1.50 dress and my bargain £1.50 cardie are both going on eBay - the dress is gorgeous but I can't fit my boobs in it
and the cardie is just not me! Not sure if you should update my total to reflect that or not.

I'm intolerant of wheat, citrus, grapes, grape products and dried vine fruits, tomato, and beetroot, and I am also somewhat caffeine sensitive.0 -
I went to Primark and I bought:
3 Cath Kidston looky-likey bags,
a pair of marcasite bow earrings -also CK lookalikes,
a pair of flowery fabric earrings (I want to re-cover these)
a 100% real genuine and authentic (yeah, right) pearl bracelet with cream fabric rose - just want the flower to make a brooch
- 4 spotty mugs: 2 pink 2 blue (CK style again)
AND NO CLOTHESI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
I'm avoiding primark for as long as i can.0

I've still bought nothing but I am going to need some new PJs soon. I can't even be bothered to go near the shops to be honest. I think I'll just hold off the PJs for as long as I can although I have also been lookig online at the tail end of the sales and am completely untempted still.0

Went round to my friends yesterday to price up all her clothes we sorted through the previous week - have convinced her to take them to a table top tomorrow in the village.
We have priced them low to sell as she doesn't want to take them home with her if she can - she's moving to a smaller flat with NO storage whatso ever and a teeny tiny barbie wardrobe to put what -ever clothes she takes with her.
We are also taking a pack lunch & drinks too so she won't be tempted to "eat" into her "hopefully" profit!
Hopefully I will stay strong and stay on the selling side of the table and not wander round the rest of the tables!
Oh I do love a good car boot,jumble sale,yard sale,table top!

had a Kew catalogue delivered yesterday and drooled over the new spring looks but even if I wait till the sales it would bust the budget to buy anything so am planning to sort out my wardrobe and see if i have any similar items to combine in new looks.they have some long scarves with knots tied in them so thought I might try that with some of my (many) scarves.
p.s all my noble thoughts did not stop me lying awake still thinking about the clothes at Kew!!!!!!0
