Why, why, why do I go round Debenhams!?! they now have buy one get one half price on the sale stuff so I brought a John Rocha tunic for £14 and got another for £6 minus 10% with the Daily Mail coupon, so that's £18 but then I needed a plain black long sleeve t to go underneath £5 Tesco and some plain black trousers £12 Matalan. Then my OH said "you really need a couple of new skirts" hit him and came home!!
    Slightly bitter
  • Morning!

Happy to say that I did not buy anything clothes wise last weekend and wasn't even tempted to "just have a look"!!

Having an unscheduled day off work today as DD is poorly with a nasty cold, swollen glands etc... _pale_
She is tucked up on the sofa under a cozy blanket.

Now I have just got the keep off the clothes websites :)

Still no spend here - grabbed a few things out of my wardrobe at the weekend that I haven't worn for a while so feeling like I have sort-of-new stuff on today :) Need to do a bit more of that!

went dancing at a new club last night and was chatting to a lovely 72 year old who loves ballroom dancing but her husband sadly died last year, she was telling me they danced twice a week and she had counted 40 skirts in her wardrobe!!!!!!
made me think I need some more clothes!!!!!!!!!!!

we go to class twice a week but I tend to wear jeans in the cold weather
  • OK I have made another purchase- so will need to adjust my sig!
I bought a lovely white coat from eBay - so cute. I have included the postage in the cost of he coat so in total I spent £33, so far I have spent £38/100
I have spent far less than last year though, and I have wanted a new coat for a while! I am actually thinking about clothes that I have wanted for years, like a proper mac and a new pair of white flats (I have had a white shoe obsession for years but all of my white shoes are now dead!) I'm not an essex girl though!
  • Count me in! I havent bought any new clothes since November :-)

Will sadly have to buy some work clothes due to starting my first 'real' job (I.e an annual salary job, lol)
    February Grocery Challenge- £140/£200 Spent.
    Weekly Spend Challenge- £0/£5 Spent.
    Crazy Clothes Challenge- £0/£100 Spent

I don't ask him for money for clothes so he can't complain if I fall off the wagon but when I mentioned the clothes I had seen in the Kew catalogue he siad no you only have £100 for the year :(:(:(:(

Being accountable to other people makes us all a bit more disciplined. Life coach type people and books often recommend telling other people about your plans so that you can't give up on them so easily. If you've told everyone you're going to do something then you kind of have to do it whether you want to or not.

I can't believe it - I'm actually relieved I was outbid on ebay (and quite excited that I didn't feel the urge to up my original bid!). It means I didn't break my £5 monthly clothes budget or have to update this challenge. Still currently at 0 :D

Sold a coat on ebay yesterday for £63, but using money to pay off debt rather than adding to my clothes spend allowance... :A

Wow niksyg, that must have been some coat! Well done :T Maybe I need to get around to sorting out my wardrobe! Keep putting off selling things on ebay as Ifind it a bit scary!

I also need to be brave enough to use my sewing machine on the things I don't want to sell but might need tweaked a bit!
