Personally I wouldn't, the challenge isn't really about making more money to feed the habit, as much as it is kicking the habit of buying clothes when we don't need them. Think of where else that oney could go. I make about £800 a month extra income from selling stuff on ebay, writting reviews etc, if I put that towards clothes this challenge would be a cake walk!
Still have my £100. My fiance offered to buy me some clothes for my birthday but I turned him down, I don't need them. I have to say I found January really hard but going cold turkey has REALLY made a difference I didn't expect. So I spent the birthday money on a new roll of canvas and some pliers so I can start making custom frames.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008
Debt September 20th 2022 £2991.68- 96.92% paid off0 -
Aargh, had sale email from Koodos.. there's a bra that should be £109 for £10 (plus £5.99 postage).. but I don't need it....Debt@16.12.09 £10,362.38, now debt free as of 29.02.2012."I cannot make my days longer so I strive to make them better."0

I am checking out a couple of coats and a top on Ebay - one of the coats would be for Spring so I will ask my parents to buy it for my birthday if it isn't too expensive.
The top I will only buy if it is cheap - it is a very different top to anything I own and would go with a lot of things. The other coat is lovely - I would buy this as an investment piece although it shouldn't be any more than £35. I will see how I get on - I dont want to spend too much so soon!0 -
Just to say I have been reading another post on a shopoholic thread by NGlady who recommended this swap shop - http://www.bigwardrobe.com/
Looks fantastic and I will certainly be putting some of my clothes on there instead of Ebay!0 -

£109 for a bra  Is it one of those ones with extra architectural support (a bit like what I need)0
