Silverco Oh I really wanted one of those sequined blazers.I wouldnt wear it enough to buy it though, even though Im realllly tempted! its lovely.
I keep selling bits and pieces but not added it to my £100 as I tend to use the money for other things and group all ebay together so I think I will stick to my budget and if I get desperate later in the year sell some things and use the money!
Its made me realise how many things I own without actually wearing them so hoping this challenge will make me wear different things.Weekly Spend Challenge £200 -
I'm currently at a £0 spend with no cravings until I logged on and saw you talking bout DP's!! Just had a look at their website and am IN LOVE with the sequinned blazer and silver pleat top (although I never go anywhere to be able to wear them).
Have reigned my urges in (for now at least) but to cheer myself up I'm going to venture to a charity shop in the posh part of town tomorrow - its the first time so wish me luck!Crazy £100 Clothes Challenge 2010 No. 136 = £0/£100 budget

Hey everyone,
Happy New Clothesto verynewmoneysaver ... much more of this spending malarkey & you'll be having to change your name to 'verynotmoneysaver'
:D
Colleen Pamela - Well done for returning safely & empty handed, Good Girl :A
Mariel - you are as naughty as that Shoe Gal, who's always trying to make me buy new stuff:D
I spent ages looking at that purple tailcoat, all angles & enlarged images & although my size was available I have decided not to get it . My new philosophy where clothes, shoes & bags are concerned is that I have to believe an item to be absolutely perfect for me & know that I will wear it often.
I cannot tell you how many gorgeous items of clothing I have bought in the past that are still unused; as the occasion that I hoped would arise in order for me to wear said item never did
On closer inspection I thought that for my personal size, stature & style that it just wasnt perfect. It's also a huge chunk of my budget that I havent yet earned.
Also I know damn well that sarahb will be checking my purchases & I have promised to be frugal as well as fabulous for the whole of this year & under no circumstances am I going to give her an opportunity to wag her finger at me :rotfl:0 -

Excellent attitude Lula-Hula, and that's why you're our leader! Well done! :T0 -
I have to say I'm shocked how many people have bought clothes already I thought people would get through January at least, its not even the end of the first month, so far we've only 'earnt' £4.93, the rest is credit from the rest of the years budget. I'm aware I'm building up 'credit' for clothes shopping at the rate of 27p per day.... I'm a bit geeky and competative (with myself!) and want to see how long I can go!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

I agree! There's no way I'm spending a penny until February at least! I actually started the no clothes thing last September (not on here, just on my own) - and I haven't bought a thing for 4 months!!! I have received a lot of hand-me-downs from the trendy mother-in-law & got a few things for xmas. Still have 15 dresses hung up in the wardrobe that I've never worn (bought up to 2 years ago!) - so new new things for me!!
