    Hi Guys!

Can I please sign up for the crazy challenge?:D
I've managed to avoid the sales so far and would like it to remain that way! Fed up spending a fortune in the sales on impulse buys just because it's reduced and in my size!
Could you put me down for £100 please Lula? This is to include everything (no extras for me either - ebay sales going straight on the cc - I'm planning to be as good as gold this year!:A)
Lucky for me I just need to buy vests & shorts for work which are muchos cheapness anyhoo!:D

    Thanks!

Well, I spent another £10.99. These last two spends have been for an event I have coming up. After this I'm pretty sure I won't spend anything else for a while. Ooh, although I need to check that my shirt is still ok for interviews, as I wore it on the first day of my previous job and they made me pin something on it. So maybe I will be spending something soon. Nudity is particularly bad in job interviews!

If you're unemployed (only saying this as some people attend job interviews while still in their old job), then the job centre can give you vouchers for New Look to buy interview clothes; this means 1 blouse, 1 skirt/pair of trousers and a pair of shoes. Worth bearing in mind; I took them up on this generous offer a few months ago and now I wear the clothes for work.;) And needless to say, this wouldn't count as part of your £100 challenge. Ask your job centre advisor about the ADF (Which is £100 they have set aside for every jobseeker) as this is what it's there for; interview clothes are a main use for it. HTH anyone who needs it.

Here to confess my spends so far! Bought two jumper dresses from DP, couldn't decide which one to buy so OH gave me £20 towards them. So £49 spend was really only £29. I might take one back though as not sure about it now. Making OH not buy me anything for Valentine's as don't want to feel like spending his money, ha!

Also £8 on a necklace/earrings set but not included cos accessories :D

Going to start shopping in my own wardrobe as the sales were crazy and it's all tat!

Arghhhh the temptation! Haven't spent anything yet but oneof the girls at work brought in a discount catalogue and I was perusing through it compiling a shopping list...then I realised and dropped it like it was covered in acid :P Still £0 for me spent on clothes...5 days into 2010 and this still feels like an achievement :P

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up; always try just one more time

Good and bad to report today - the bra I was so pleased about the other day was awful, not the same as my others at all and I didn't realise until I'd not only de-tagged it but worn it for a while as well. It's now in the bin.
The good news is I almost bought some boots today from the CS where I work (about £5, not sure as they hadn't been priced). I got as far as wearing them for 5 minutes to check they were comfy, they really were, then took them off and practically threw them at my manager telling her I had to be good! Very pleased with myself.

NB - I have to include EVERYTHING in my allowance or I'd just end up buying lots of underwear and accessories.

I bought a few things in the Next sale but since I technically bought them last year I'm not counting them.

I have added this (below ) to other challenge, but thought I'd add herre too to let you know. Feel proud to be dealing with it! Forget the getting there in the first place...Also proud that I've completely avoided online sales! And I've updated my signature!! Wooo

When I joined this thread I mentioned I had about 10K of debt but had been hiding from it as we do...
Anyway today I faced up to it all and have £10,600 on cc and loan outstanding of about 2k.
So I've applied for a Virgin Credit Card (obvs on advice from this LOVELY site... why didn't I face up to sooner...oh don't beat yourself up Jodda...you've done it now...) and online it says I've been accepted for full £10k at 0% interest for 16 months!
Am made up, it's odd but feels good to be in control of it and feel I can see light at the end of a VERY long tunnel.
They won't change their mind will they???
So now need to get listing on ebay and start making some money to meet the monthly payment. I currently pay about £400 off my other cards so if I can up that to £625 each month I'd clear the whole balance in the 16 months!
    Wahay..
THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR FAB SUPPORT!!! mwah (i'm filling up...)

I'd like to join in too. Lula, can you please put me down for £100 clothes, £30 underwear, £50 shoes/accessories (which is the bare minimum I can get it to, I've got a touch of the Imelda Marcos about me!) Hopefully this will make me think before I buy something new... which won't go with anything else in the wardrobe, knowing me! Really need to get pattern drafting again. :p
