I know I'm a bit late but I always thought this included everything and that's impossible for me as I wear 'normal' clothes for work.
I'm in for £150 on home clothes though, if that's okayNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Seriously considering doing a similar budget for toiletries/ make-up although I can't decide what a reasonable amount is.
Good idea Squiz, although no idea on amount. My foundation is £20 twice a year alone! _pale_No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -
I was coming on to confess some spends but I dont think they count - hurray!
I bought some sales things in december but they have arrived in Jan so I was debating whether they count as the challenge spends...but it was a £3.50 top then all underwear and accessories...so should I count the top or count it as december as it was 'bought and paid for in dec' but arrived jan? what does everyone think?
at least it was only a £3.50 item...it was nearly over £50s worth but most of it wasnt in stock or arrived and didnt fit!Weekly Spend Challenge £200 -
I'm going to have to buy some new bra's soon, mine are no longer white!0

Hey there
I did the same thing, bought some stuff in the Next Plus Size sale which had some fab bargains, none of it has arrived yet but I paid for it in 2009 so I'm not counting it!
Although I guess Lula will be along at some point to adjudicate....hopefully in our favour!I've got my own flat :j:j
Now I have to pay the bills

Thank goodness I'm not taking part in this challenge; I spent £22 on a new season lingerie set at M&S today. Oops!! But in fairness, I did need it.0

Hi everyone :hello:
first day back at work today ugh & just finished home job half an hour ago .
Thought I'd better update now as the way you lot are spending it'll take me all weekend if I leave it til then
I've updated the totals on page 1 & added new challengers too so Happy New Clothes to all that have them... just remember that the more you spend now, the less you will have for later in the year.
Welcome to Lollypop75, chops22, Carrion & Gemmzie.
Er chops22 sweetie - Lula does not include shoes in the challenge
Gemmzie - Lula only counts real, proper, bona fide, geunuine, pukka clothes. Not shoes, not bags, not scarves or gloves or hats or knickers or bras or tights, stockings or socks
Lets make this very clear :
Lula is not a weirdo masochistic martyr type & struggles herself in this challengeso tries to make it as easily achievable as possible. Lula does not like to fail but also believes that if she can do it then so can anyone else who wants to.
Honestly, unless you have either gained or lost more than a stone recently (er, that'll be me then, but in truth it wasnt that recently) or have fallen out of the sky from the planet Nudos where they dont wear clothes, then really you should have plenty in your wardrobes to last the year & only need to buy items that need to be refreshed yearly like t shirts
.
Chugginton & makeup : re your items - 'What happened in 2009, stays in 2009:j. How cross am I that the item I bought ended at about 11.50 on New Years Eve so I didnt get the invoice until the 1st
Oh no, got to get up again in 6 hours
night night all & stop spending
Lula
