forgot to say...in my bargain buys from ebay I got a boden top which was really similar to the one I had returned for a bargainous £3.27! it was originally £40 I think! not going on ebay for a while now other than to sell as its too easy to spend...although it works coming on here to confess as I know I cant say Ive spent the whole budget in a week so Im much more careful than I used to be!Weekly Spend Challenge £200 -
Does anybody else find, since they started this challange especially, that Primark actually seems quite expensive?! Im starting to think theyve put their prices up quite a lot and to be honest the quality doesnt represent the price anymore!
i used to only shop in matalan as i thought that was cheap........... then i found primark!!

she also paid into a local shop that sold all sorts of things and when we needed something we just went to the shop and said mum said we could have shoes or whatever and the amount was recorded on the card....early credit and no interest(guess we were more in credit than overdrawn as mum would n ot go into debt....those were the days:)0 -
Hi all
Didnt manage my charity shop hunt yesterday but braved the cold today. I got a lovely pink cardi for work for £3 so im not going to count it out of my budget. Nearly bought a top for £2.50 but had a serious talk to myself about whether I really needed it!

I knew mystery shooping would lead me into mischief! Popped into the various shops that I could spend my xmas voucher in... and was horrified at the prices... until I came across a gorgeous dress in DPs... £32 reduced to £17.50, minus £10 voucher = £7.50 to declare

Did some online window shopping today, saw a lovely pair of Rocket Dog pumps on the Schuh website.... then suddenly remembered why I liked them and recognised them.... I already have a pair very similar in the back of my wardrobe:rotfl: and then found another pair I'd forgotten about too :
So today I shopped for free, in my wardrobe

Hi all,
I bought a little nautical t-shirt from Asda last night for £8 but thinking of taking it back, I really shouldn't buy when I'm unsure (or Lula is watching)!
I have also nearly finished my mammoth clear-out (this is where I wish I had time to ebay). I have given away 2 jackets, 2 pairs of jeans and a tank top to my niece, threw out around 5 items of clothing and in the charity box is 106 items of clothing, 3 pairs of boots, 2 pairs of sandals, 5 bags and a coat (so far).
Everything is hung on an individual hanger in the wardrobe and I even have a spare drawer lying empty. I still have way too many shoes/bags but guess it's a work in progress. Still don't know how Gok says you should managed with 24 pieces!
Well done everyone else for resisting temptation!0
