    xmas-smiley-010.gifMorning ladies,

Not a song today, but apt nevertheless...

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St Nicholas soon would be there.

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads.
And mamma in her ‘kerchief, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a long winter’s nap.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I flew like a flash,
Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow
Gave the lustre of mid-day to objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature sleigh, and eight tiny reindeer.

With a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment it must be St Nick.
More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!

"Now Dasher! now, Dancer! now, Prancer and Vixen!
On, Comet! On, Cupid! on, on Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

    Good Morning Ladies :santa2:

Well after my rants last night, I realised just how silly I was being :o I guess it was just the stress and the tiredness getting to me, honestly usually I am a reasonable person kinda go with the flow . I never saw DH last night was in bed after sellotape-gate!! I got up at 5 this morning to find he had brought me sellotape in, then he came down stairs as DS woke up with a barking cough and said he would help me wrap the remaining pressies :D he also folded all the washing from the TD when he came in last night AND made me coffee and a bit of toast whilst I was wrapping so now I am nice and calm, all pressies done and most just to get put under the tree, well the family ones anyway. I am just gonna pop in the shower and get ready for work, am gonna put jeans on today seeing as its the last day :D

Thank you all for your support as always, gonna post my updated lists, am due a couple of stars.

Have a wonderful day everyone, I hope to get back on later when littlies are in bed (by 8pm) but if not

Have a Merry Chrismas and a stress free day, hope santa is good to you all xx

    Merry Christmas Eve to all.
I'm hoping that my fabulously Christmas spirit returns as I wake up today, cos I felt soooooo good yesterday, and today I feel less than fab.

Plumber came to look at the ceiling yesterday, but I wasn't in so I've no idea whats going on. Only know he was here coz there where extra bowls and towels down in the bathroom. All drips seem to have ceased for the time being, but I'm still concerned on the, 'there really shouldn't be water escaping my ceiling' line of thought. But I've decided not to worry about it, that as I rent its the landlords problem if the ceiling caves in, and I'll survive....don't we always.

Right going to find a list and then have a shower, see you all soon.

    Monday Mayhem..

    Morning All

Tag - I got up for an hour at 3 as I couldn't get back to sleep - put a load of washing on - wrote a list of things to do - had a drink and some pills and went back to bed around 4. Managed to go back to sleep for 1.5 hours so not too bad.

I was going to nip to Mr As but DH says he'll go as the roads will be bad. I just want some fruit and some salad stuff and serviettes. I could do without them but I'd prefer to have them so he can go.

I've got some baking to do today, still some stocking fillers to wrap, general tidy and clean and some present delivering unless I can get out of it.

Have a wonderful Christmas Eve all of you

    Hugs

Don't be too upset - there was only a glass left at the end of the bottle so I've had to open a new bottle and it would be rude to only have one glass!!!:Dxx

Of course it would have been rude to only have one! ;)

Triker - glad hubby got home safe

Mudders - what a fantastic DH you have

Serena - hope your DD is better this morning

Piggers - how big a gobbler have you got given you put it in the oven over a day before the main event?

Pink Winged - how nice to have your DD home earlier than expected

Work this morning then I'm off until next year. All I really need to do this afternoon is dust and Dyson throughout and then I'm set for the main event. Ooh and I see the Norad site says santa tracking's about to start in 2 mins!
