Morning all, just been skimming the thread so general hugs where apropriate.

Off to work in a few minutes with a detour to Mr A to fill the car. Finished all my shopping kast night with a quick trip to B&M last night. Groceries were finished on Tuesday night. (never go near a shop this close to Christmas if I can help it, though we do live 5 mins walk from MR A anyway)

Flyig has been hit and miss, though I did get on my hands and knees and clean half the kitchen floor last night - the other half might have to wait:rotfl:

Anyway off to de-ice the car yet again, I think I'm a little tired of the white stuff now. Glad OH got home OK Triker, and go careful vibes to anyone travelling home today.

    Greenbee - where are you....

  • DS1 has done a great job icing the cake - just the decorating to go SSL/Greenbee how do we make the scraps of icing green - do we add drops of food colouring an knead?

Sorry Dusty - just saw this. I think you probably have sorted it out now, but what I do is use a cocktail stick to add colour very gradually and knead in. Looking forward to seeing pics :D

Well karma bit me (and poor OH) on the bum last night  After me and DD laughing at one of the neighbours for getting stuck in the snow, OH got stuck in the snow when he arrived. He is just horrified at the amount of snow here. Being from Liverpool he's just not used to it and despite the fact I've moaning for a week now about how much snow we have, he was still shocked. Anyway, he is here safe and sound now :D

Do we have any flyladies in Lincolnshire? It looks awful there today.

I need to pop out and get some milk. Not sure if OH can be persuaded to drive the Landrover after last nights shenanigans ;) Recycling wasnt picked up yesterday and the grey bins are due to be collected today but none of my neighbours have out their bins out. I think I will keep my ears peeled :D

    Morning all

The melt is on her and we can see bits of grass for the first time in nearly a week - I'm sad to see it go but pleased it will make getting around easier and safer for folk.

    - thanks hun, decorating is today so not too late at all - do you use the solid colour not the liquid? Stay safe in the snow.

    and Chamichelle, too...

lots of scrappy jobs to do. As xmas isn't here no food to prepare but mum and dad will come round tonight as they have done for many years (with a 'bootful' ;))

I have done WM x 2 and TD x 1 (I am getting a dab hand at trolling up the garden at 5 am to take advantage of cheap rate leccy - dressing gown and wellies is my usual attire for this trip!)

I do need to finish wrapping and clean the bathroom and I MUST CLEAR THE HOTSPOT IN THE DINING ROOM.
