I'm in again this week, though I'm working right through to Thursday afternoon so some it may have to go hang...

Pressies wrapped and just last minute veges to buy which I will deal with on Tuesday evening in Asda. Got the last few bits in Aldi & Lidl this aft.

Thanks to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for all the hard work.

LadyL - thinking of you as always.

Off to bed now as will need at least an extra half hour in the morning to defrost the car and then get to the depot.

Tooch.. Go wake her up... :D.. if she's no at school it won't matter... but she will be so excited.. I love doing things like that.. :D

Well.. KH has his papers through fromthe solicitor.. and while he says he doesn't agree with the 'terms' he is currently saying he won't contest it.. so.. it should.. in theory.. all be sorted by Easter.. providing the mediation stuff goes ok and he doesn't turn into the biggest twerp the land has ever lain eyes upon!!

I have had a hormonal offended moment.. or I'm not sure if I am actually justified.. OH's mum wrote a christmas card for me and family... and a separate one for OH.. does that say to you lot that she 'disapproves'? Or that she has negative feelings towards me or my family? OH is upset I am offended by that.. it is like denying our relationship IMO.. but he just shrugged it off saying his maybe has money in etc.. so what! It isn't like I'll run off with it.. or she could have put a smaller envelope in with money for him.. I'm not so sure I am being silly.

I've wrapped everything i can, i've still got a few bits to get so i won't cross it off my list yet. I've also got to change the wellies i bought Dsd1. I sent Dsd2 in to get them while i went to Home Bargains ( she's 16 so you'd think more than capable). I've just noticed there's 2 left feet, one's a size 7 and the other's a size 8. She's not even any of those sizes so i'm not sure how Dsd2 managed to get it so wrong.

We've had a tiny amount of snow, it looks like someone's sprinkled icing sugar everywhere. It's stopped now though.

Pigpen it's a tricky one, i think i'd probably be a bit offended. If there is money in his card then i wouldn't IYSWIM.

    Morning all

Thanks for the link Dusty - from what I've quickly searched and read, it seems it's the PCB. BG did say that if there was a cancellation they'd call and come earlier. Please send BG manage to squeeze me in today vibes please!

And thank you Rach - that's v. sweet of you.
Thanks for the warm vibes and hugs mummyof5, L-L and SGT - they are much appreciated

Hugs Piggers - there's probably no malice intended there...

I am cold and tired. Internal temp is 50F. Not good. I am hugging a warmed up wheat cushion watching my cup of tea steam its way cold!

DD finally got home safely. Don't know what time it was because although I heard her come in, I didn't check the time. I did, however, get up at 12.30, boiled the kettle and popped a hot water bottle in her bed and left her a note saying I hoped it was still hot when she got in.

Got up this morning to find a lovely note by the kettle telling me I'm a genius and a wonderful mother and that the bottle was still warm and she nearly cried with happiness over it when she got in after a 4 hour drive home (should have only taken about 1.25 hours) after having got stuck in a snow filled ditch and having to be rescued

I shall hear more of her adventures this evening.

My keep warm strategy when I get in from work will be to put the halogen spots on in the kitchen and slow casserole a joint of ham I have in the fridge - the heat from the oven will help! BB and I will go on a long brisk walk and then I'll do everything I can on the list that involves movement. I'll then nip to NN's about 6pm and avail myself of her bathroom facilities!
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
